ZENGLEN MADE THEIR FIRST MAJOR MISTAKE in the WIDLER "era" on Saturday by having him play with the group at what the group's manager told me was an "ASSOCIATION" party. They said that it was some sort of a private party NOT OPEN to the general public, so not too many people would be there to see the group and new singer WID.
WHY THE MISTAKE? They basically killed the buzz or curiosity of WIDLER's LIVE DEBUT for the general public because they had people there with cameras that were filming, and these videos eventually filtered out to the general public for them to see. NO SURPRISES LEFT IN STORE FOR THE FANS OR GROUP if they wanted to announce a "ZENGLEN LIVE PREMIERE WITH NEW SINGER" party.
ZENGLEN and in particular FRERO have not hidden the fact that they are BETTING THE RANCH and PUTTING ALL THE MARBLES on vocalist WIDLER to take them to the promised land. In this yet again "NEW ERA" for ZENGLEN, SE WIDLER KI CAPITAINE BATO A because SE SA ZENGLEN DECIDE VA N. So if that's the way you are going, the first thing they should have done is LET FRERO "by himself", play the "association" party, so that ZENGLEN would get some major buzz for WIDLER's OFFICIAL LIVE PREMIERE. They did NOT do that. With their new CD set to be released sometime THIS WEEK or NEXT WEEK; the MOST LOGICAL PARTY and MARKETING ANGLE for Zenglen to apply was to have a "CD RELEASE PARTY...WITH THE GRAND LIVE PREMIERE DEBUT OF WIDLER". They dropped the ball on that.
ZENGLEN is a band that needs any buzz that they can get right now, and with them having been INACTIVE on the LIVE CIRCUIT for a minute because of their concentration recording the new CD; they certainly need to think very wisely about EVERY MOVE that they are making. What just happened this past weekend showed that the THINKERS for the band did NOT think hard enough on this particular issue. ZENGLEN FE GWO FOT SOU DOSSIER SA!
They can't afford to make too many mistakes because ROUT HMI LA GLISSE ANPIL ses jours si.
