DJAKOUT#1 just got a BOOMING WARNING from RYLAX manager and longtime Djakout associate WES, in regards to his group's vocalist CHARLIN BATEU. Check it out below.




*KOMPA MAGAZINE: There are rumors that DJAKOUT might be looking at CHARLIN BATAEU for a vocalist/frontman role. What can you tell us about that being that he's one of the vocalists for your band RYLAX?
WES: "The only thing that I say to Djakout is to "Fè RESPÈ YO OUBYEN RET NAN RÒL YO" and nothing more."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Did you hear the rumors as well on your end?
WES: "Yes, I did and I confronted Charlin about it so Charlin is Rylax and Rylax is Charlin and if Djakout #1 want to change that then..... Tu connus!"

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What did Charlin tell you?
WES: "That was a private conversation and I won't put that in public as we concluded."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: How confident are you that CHARLIN will NOT go to DJAKOUT?
WES: "As I said Charlin is Rylax and Rylax is Charlin. I think I am confident enough with that. Pat, don't forget mwen pa janm ènmèdé Djakout non, mwen Toujou supòté Djakout. So, si se afè pa m yo ta renmen gaté pou ranjé afè pa yo m ap di yo bon vwayaj. Our songs were mixed and mastered by Ti Reggie so they know the deal."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: You and Djakout go way back. You guys have HISTORY. Did it cross your mind to pick up the phone and talk to one of the musicians to tell them IT'S YOUR BAND...CHARLIN IS YOUR SINGER...."DON'T DO YOU LIKE THAT" if they are THINKING about going after him?
WES: "M'ap kite yo reflichi ak sa pou n kot sa ap rivé. Kom mwen di w deja. Wes pa janm ènmèdé Djakout se ede m konnen ede yo."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Is your relationship with DJAKOUT "Damaged" after what transpired at the NYC KREYOL LA/DJAKOUT party? Maybe NOW, they might not have any FRIENDSHIP bonds with you anymore?
WES: "I did do anything to Djakout, they performed and got paid. No, I don't think my relationship with them is damaged. I spoke to a few of them and things are good as usual.

By the way, let's go back to history for a second and you already know what had happened in the early 2000's. I personally think if there would be a damaged friendship; I would be the one to complain about THAT; but I never did."
