*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What is your instrument BRAND of choice when performing LIVE in terms of the keyboard. Which brand and WHY? I know back in the days the DX7 from Yamaha used to be the flavor of the month.
FABRICE ROUZIER: "I personally favor the YAMAHA MOTIF XF8. I am, ironically, a late adopter to the MainStage software and i'm loving it. My dream would be to add a Nord Stage 2 to my rig ( Allo Babas Durand ) or maybe do like my friend Dano Eugene and get a KORG KRONOS 2. Many many expensive choices out there and not enough gigs to cover them!"

The yamaha motif xf8 is a classic man!! Great choice Fabrice!!!
The mainstage seems to be the weapon of choice nowadays.
For me, for simple gigs, I'm loving the portability and simplicity of using ipad with these modules: sampletank, Yamaha Mobile Music Sequencer, and the Novation Launchkey Synth.
