News on FRERO's upcoming SOLO CD.
The name of the 2 songs that FRERO will release from his upcoming SOLO CD in a few days are "TOURMENTS" and "BON BELME" (STEP MOM)
FRERO: "BON BELME is a song telling a story about someone who has been raised by a good mother in law. You know in the Haitian community people always see BELME (STEP MOM) in a bad way. For BON BELME you know GAZZMAN has BOPE pa papa, but I wanted people to realize gen bon BOPE nan la vie a tou. A song like PITIT DEYO makes people feel BELME souvan gen problem ak PITIT DEYO, so my song BON BELME is telling a story about a PITIT DEYO who has been raised by a BON BELME.
The title of the other song is TOURMENTS talking about a man who is trying to have back THE LOVE OF HER WOMAN. It's a song about a man apologizing to his woman for all the wrongs he did to her. IT IS A VERY NICE TUNE but only the consumers will judge it."

| I think the "bèlmè" title translates to "Step-Mother" in this case and not "Mother in law" which are 2 completely different things. |
