Welcome to the HMI STOCK EXCHANGE...as you all know, the bands in the HMI are like STOCKS on Wall Street. At any given moment, month, week, year, the stock can be UP, down, or even in terms of VALUE.

As of TODAY September 25th,2014...If I were to ask you to place the bands that are in the 3 different baskets of UP/DOWN/EVEN...which bands would go where and MOST IMPORTANTLY "Why" you feel they are that particular basket.

You can use the example below to make your point if you want to.

STOCKS "UP":


NuLook: A solid album, plays extremely well in live scenes, has passed the Arly front man experiment, the thinking outside the Box (Orchestra/Innovation ) in the Amazura showdown with Klass was a "coup de maître". Nulook has more fans than anybody in the HMI, but they rather stay at the barber shop/restaurant/KM to argue than showing up in the bals. NuLook fans are aging; you barely saw a 20-25 years old in front the band. NuLook is like IBM stock (Technology sector), always in the conversation, will not go too low to worry shareholders, but will not blow you away a la google or Apple either. Buy more stock, don't sell for the next 6-9 months. Innovation has a price and you need to keep innovate…can NuLook do that?
I can put them in the oil sector as well...goes up and down depending on how quiet the middle east is..in the case of Nulook what drama/controversy is cooking

Klass: A solid album, shared the wealth with the media, sells themselves well (almost drama free). We are all under the impression that they may have tons of music's in the work to ingest when things start shifting in the opposite direction. You can't go wrong with Richie. Richie (the story teller) can make a great music out of the simple everyday joke. There are so many stories and jokes to tell out there, Richie/Klass stock is safe. In fact Pat/KM just gave Richie a new music in this stock market idea. Same like Arly in the plenyin business, everyday Kout Ba ap bay, giving Arly materials.

Klass is like the Pharmaceuticals Stock, you know they are working on some new drugs. Buy more Klass stocks, don’t sell until the morning after the next showdown. They have not done well in festivals/showdowns...that may be a source of concerns.

5Etwal: They may catch the break Dezine caught back in 2000. Very nice groove, bunch of likeable guys, Getting rid of the TiLunet name helps 5Etwal image. Needs to keep making noise to stay relevant, spend money in Haiti, make more noise in the social media network. 5Etwal Stocks are like Cloud technologies (ex DoTCOM)...Buy with caution..too early to tell

STOCKS "DOWN":

DISIP: Has 2 decent albums, plays extremely well, but Gazzman needs to solve 2 areas: 1- I am not the greedy (me, myself, and I) guy, 2- I can lead by cleaning the image of my business. Will he ask TiHarry to step aside for a while and replace him with a lady next to him? He may get a few of his half protestants/Baptists back. Disip may need to open the ownership gate by bringing known names to produce for the band and sell it differently. Merger and acquisitions with Dola or Evy Keys may be an avenue to explore

Zenglen: Not enough noise due to little money left after paying everybody. The band needs an infusion of money to market themselves

Will sell both Disip and Zenglen stocks and buy Penny stock in Karisma/Xtasy/Dola

Kreyola: Due to internal crisis, but will bounce next year (January/February). Buy them while they are low

STOCKS "EVEN": (Not positive/Not negative)

Tvice/Carimi: Not enough noise in the international front (Paris/Antilles) as they used to do in the past, left us with the feeling that we have seen the best of them. No money invested to continue marketing them. Moneyman is staying away from them. They may have shifted their investment focus in other sectors in Haiti due to their acquaintances with the power in place. Their board of directors are making money elsewhere, just doing the HMI for fun and because it is in their blood.

Djakout: Nice Album, but left me the same feeling as Tvice (neg yo ap brassé lot koté)

Harmonik/Gabel: They managed to stay in the conversation. No “Wow” effect, no “Damn IT” effect either[/i]

Nu-Look still the number one in the HMI

STOCK UP!

NU LOOK.. This stock has been on the rise since post konpa fest! Then came the haiti tour.. Then came the 08/29/14 MASSACRE! It is now being traded at the highest value on the market! It will force competitors to come up with new game plans! Also.. NU LOOK stock being up is good for the market in general! It seems as though every band will start trading again!

DJAKOUT.. Is rising.. How high will it go, that I can't tell! But I definetely know that the sky is the limit! Their best LP since manniguetta! A very nice addition in steve kwe.. Djakout is coming!

STOCK DOWN

KLASS.. A few peeps might scratch their heas on this one.. But.. Let's be real..where investors would not hesitate to buy klass shares PRE-AMAZURA.. now it's a different ball game POST-AMAZURA! investors now feel like they have a choice, they can ask question. They must also keep an eye on the currently best stock on the market.. This is not to say that klass is currently not one of the top two bands in the market, but where before it was arguably the top stock.. Today it is not!

UP:
KLASS: After the AMAZURA debacle, the perception was that KLASS was going to loose steam. However the post AMAZURA bal numbers put KLASS back to where they were in the HMI ladder before the showdown.

NULOOK: The successful Haiti tour and the AMAZURA showdown bring the band stock high. NULOOK wins the perception war, although they still need to prove that with numbers.

DJAKOUT: This band was non existent in HMI conversation. Their new album bring them back into the HMI world.


EVEN
CARIMI: They are still where they were after the release of their album. They have some good songs in their album. Their stock can go up anytime.

TVICE: Like CARIMI, they have good songs in their last album that are doing wonder in bal. TVICE remains one of the best bands in the live circuit. Their stock can go up anytime as well.

HARMONIK: Their are where they were at the release of MWEN BOUKE. They part ways with their manager months after the release of their last album. That kind messed up their whole booking, marketing, tour plans. With one of the best albums out there, they need a credible manager with the right HMI connection to knock out some doors that are now closed for them. If they can do that, their stock has potential to go up anytime.

GABEL: They are in the same position they were before the release of their last album. They have good songs in their last CD. Unfortunately their put the CD out around the World CUP season, that kind slows down the impact that this CD should have made for the group. Gabel is known as a hard working group. It will be a matter of time before their stock to go up. I would not sleep on GABEL.

DOWN
DISIP: The band has not made the noise expected after the release of VIKTWA. Although they have a good CD, their popularity keeps declining compared to when their first started.

ZENGLEN: This is a band that was on top of the HMI ladder after the release of REZILTA. Right now, mwen pa tande pale de djazz la minm. Yo gin yon gro problem management pou yo rezoud

JBEATZ: Their last album did not make as much noise as the first one. The band is not as booked as it was before

I agree with everything you said
Fanatik KLASS can and will say positive things about NULOOK, however some nulook fans are afraid to say anything positive about KLASS for fear that they might loose their jobs.
