As a KONPA FAN it was a great night to remember. First and foremost I wanted to take this monent to salut Mr. Richie and Klass Nation and to also congrats the NL team on a decent performance. This interview just reminded me as to why in my eyes, Mr Richie has remained one of the best in his generation. The man openly admitted he understimated Arly's predictability as an artist. Lol
As a die-hard Konpa/Klass zealot, I was more affraid of the Disip/Klass showdown than NL/Klass Bal. Maybe its because Arly, as an artist IS SO PREDICTABLE in all aspects that everyone included Richie under-estimated his intentions but Iam willing to bet that entire show "so-called creativeness" was not Arly's idea. With all due respect to Mr Arly but his creativeness DOES NOT reach this far. And Richie confirmed it in the interview that the so-called Orchestra was not Arly's but rather an idea which Richie tought of and was later taken by Arly. Richie even challenged Pat to confirm it through mutual friends he and Arly have.
Historically, NL has NEVER been a "showdown" type of group even during the Gazman days. For example, NL/Djakout or NL/Zenglen which Gazman openly and publicly admitted the lost. Arly, slowly moved away from any future showdown with Djakout or anyone after that embarrassing night in El Rancho in Haiti which left his little ego bruised up. He quietly moved away from a showdown with Kreyol la. Why is that? Its not about voye monte for your band but do a little bit of history with NL even with frontman Gazman whom many can agree as one of the best entertainers in the HMI. So kot Arly ta soti la pou li ta va al fè yon showndown la. Smh...lol
I read the reviews but the videos revealed a different review about what actually transpired that night. Musically speaking NL did not out- shine Klass. Some of us never seen an actual showdown, please dont take my words but youtube "TABOU/PHANTOMS and ZIN/ PHANTOMS." NL/KLASS was not a showdown. Lol. Arly, bay Klass yon kou nan do, li kouri. I seriously doubt it there will be a rematch of this "BAL" because Arly is a COWARD. Arly will rather ask a promoter $10million for NL alone + other "impossible" conditions for this rematch. Pat, in the interview even admitted that words on the streets that Arly said SI LI TA NAN POSITION KLASS, LI PA TAP AL NAN JWE AK NL but Why is that? Lol lol!!!! Tankou Richie di bagay se konpa direct li ye; si'w santi konpa'w bon lets do a real showdown. Lol!!!
Pat, as always great job job with the interview. Iam glad Richie cleared up a lot for the Klass fans tonight. Konpa direk devan. |
