Is that me or some of you also wonder the same thing... Why is it that all the new CDs that were released at the end of December 2006 came out in the same danm and weird "PURPLE" CD covers ?
Was it the producers choice ?
Don't the producers have the right to pick the color of the CD cover in which they want their bands album to come out ?
Or, better yet, since all CDs were supposed to come out on the same day, but didn't... they have chosen to make all of them come out with the same PURPLE colored CD cover?

| I think all the cds that have the purple are from one producer. Don't know why he/she/they picked purple as the color but I know it wasn't to complement the cd cover pics of the bands. |

Someone Posted in here the reason is that,The purple is a special order color and Bootleger can't get reprint from any factory unless the order is over 300,000 units.

ohhhhhhh I s that comparable to Ralph Laurent Purple label. Did the producaers actually print 300,000 copies of each release or a group total of all the releases.

are using the purple Cover, I guess if you add them up it would equal the 300,000 copies..

Because The way they are doing promotion there is no way the each Cd will sell over 300k copies....Kinda wack because an HMI band should be at that level by now. ready to sell 500 copies and go gold. Maybe be on billboard chart or Neilsen's rating Sounsscan.....Why even put a barcode on the label then.....lollllllll  |

The purple covers are from Nouvelle Generation Records. They chose purple because of bootleggers. Not only that color is expensive but it takes about two months to be ready, and you have to order 150000 copies.
Now in total, NGR ordered 150000, divided into the different bands.
P.S. Just so you know, all the 150000 have been sold, NGR is out of cds and had to order a new stock!
