We asked 5 ETWAL manager to answer this question that's been rumbling on the HMI streets for the longest.
*KOMPA MAGAZINE: What do you say tho those who say that TI LUNET 's "MY LIFE" is a pure copycat of Arly Lariviere's musical formula?
TI BLANC: "I TOTALLY DISAGREE. MWEN PA DAKO. What I will say is in terms of PLINYIN, I can understand why they are saying that; but after that, there is no similarity in terms of the musical styles. Arly plays what we all call COMPAS LOVE, whereas TI LUNET's musical thing on this song is ZOUK LOVE. The drums/percussions are different.
About people saying that ARLY is TI LUNET's idol. There is nothing wrong with that. TOUT MOUN GIN IDOL. I am sure also that Arly also has idols that he looks up to musically. As long as what the person gets out of his idol is POSITIVE....there is nothing wrong with that."

Well if that is the case...then its understandable for people to claim similarities....Antouka when I first heard the My Life track I felt an Arly influence...so it is what it is.
Ti Lunet/Jam OP challenge now is to make sure that tag doesn't stick to him for future projects. |

Just like Ti Blanc I disagree also. I just think that the guy scored big time on a great song, great Lyrics and all. It may not sit well with some Arly fans for whatever reason but se pa premye fwa Ti Lunet or Jam-O-P fè bel gòl sayo. PA LEVE MEN sou atis la tampri instead an nou ankouraje'l pou'l kontinye fè bel mizik pou Kompa direk ki bezwen sa ampil please!

Tiblanc didnt tell us that Kenny Desmangles wrote the song for T-Lunet and co produced it. Et yo pa vle bay Kenny credit as a great producer.
