For those asking about if DAVID would entertain a return to KONPA KREYOL for him to go back with the KREYOL LA guys. We asked him.
KOMPA MAGAZINE: If they ask you to put KONPA KREYOL back together…with the same shares as before…what would be your answer?
DAVID DUPOUX: "It still doesn't change the fact that I'm not going back to music as my main job. I'm very satisfied with what I'm doing. I know there were people asking what I was doing. I'm the plant manager of Haiti's biggest plastic plant. A lot has been invested in me. I respect that I can't just turn my back on it. Being in a band would mean that the band schedule is done according to my schedule. On my free time.
I can't put a bunch of professional musicians on hold because of my work. Come on. It would only bring frustration in the band. People will see me playing sooner than they think. But it will never be a full time thing. I wish kreyol la courage coz they will need it. If they need any advice they can fell free to ask. You know <se mwen ki fo nan afe chanje mizisyen a>. Lol."

Davidoff should be the same as Fabrice "semi-retired" and music becomes a hobby.
i would love to see him produce new artists, or putting his fingerprint on an album as a producer arranger.
like ti Ansyto, producing beat for other groups and stuff.
David should get his own studio and get busy producing when time permits.
I will not be surprised to see him on a float for the coming carnival, this dude is too talented too good to give up on music.
