Hantz Fred ‘’Ti Ansyto’’ MERCIER et Vladimir ALEXIS démissionnent de Kreyòl La.

Le 2 avril 2014.-
L’équipe de Management de Kreyòl La a le regret d’informer le public en général ainsi que la presse musicale que Hantz Fred « Ti Ansyto » MERCIER, Directeur Musical et Claviériste du groupe, et Vladimir ALEXIS, Batteur, ont décidé de quitter la grande famille de Kreyòl La pour des raisons personnelles que nous n'avons d'autre choix que respecter.

Leur décisions sont complètement inattendues d’autant plus que l’équipe se retrouve en pleine période d'enregistrement de son 3ème album. Depuis sa création il y a 9 ans, Kreyòl La est bien connu et respecté pour sa stabilité exemplaire et l’harmonie contagieuse existant entre ses musiciens, dans un marché musical rongé par les dissensions en boucle de musiciens dans la majorité des groupes.

“Franchement, c’est la pire des décisions à laquelle j’aurais pu m’attendre, surtout venue de deux musiciens que je considère comme des frères d’une autre mère. Je suis très triste et éprouvé psychologiquement. Mais, il faut avancer et Kreyòl La est obligé d’avancer » déclare Jeff Jean-Pierre, manager du groupe.

L’équipe de Management de Kreyòl La, tout en déplorant cette décision déplaisante, tient à souhaiter bonne chance tout en remerciant publiquement ces deux musiciens pour leur remarquable contribution à l’édification d’une grande institution qui va continuer son aventure musicale pour le grand plaisir des mélomanes de partout assoiffés de Konpa Direct.

L’équipe de Management annoncera sous peu les nouvelles dispositions prises pour combler le départ de ces deux talentueux musiciens.

Hantz Fred “Ti Ansyto MERCIER” and Vladimir ALEXIS resign from Kreyòl La.

Port -au- Prince, Haiti
April 2, 2014. -

Kreyòl La’s management team regrets to inform the general public as well as the music press that Hantz Fred “Ti Ansyto” MERCIER, Musical Director and keyboardist of the group, and Vladimir ALEXIS , Drummer, have decided to leave the large family of Kreyòl La for personal reasons that we have no choice but to accept.

Their decisions are completely unexpected especially since the band has been in the midst of recording their third album. Since its birth 9 years ago, Kreyòl La has been well known and respected for its exemplary stability and contagious harmony between its musicians in market plagued by dissension from musicians in most groups.

"Frankly, this is the worst decision that I could have expected, especially coming from two musicians that I consider brothers from another mother. I am very sad and psychologically affected by this; however, we must move forward, Kreyòl La is obliged to advance” said Jeff Jean-Pierre, manager of the group.

Kreyòl La’s management team, while deploring this unpleasant decision, would like to wish the best of luck while publicly thanking both musicians for their outstanding contribution to the building of a great institution that will continue its musical adventure for the general delight of Konpa Direct lovers everywhere.

The Management Team will announce the new arrangements to fill the departure of these two talented musicians.

Kreyol La will be missed. After 8 years, Kreyol La is dead. Now, let us all welcome back Konpa Kreyol.

This is what I think happened. Since Ansyto is sick and there is no guarantee he will be back to the music scene, TJoe calls his old partner, David, to join him in Kreyol La. David said, in order for me to join, there should be a name change to Konpa Kreyol. When T-Ansyto heard about that, he was infuriated because his dad almost died while working wholeheartedly for Kreyol La. T-Ansyto felt extremely insulted by the Konpa Kreyol crew who assumed that he would be okay with that.

If my imagination is real, I totally agree with T-Ansyto.

To TJoe:"You cannot have your cake and eat it too."

Musicians leaving a band is nothing new to the HMI, and while these departures seem abrupt and unexpected I can only respect the decisions of these grown men and wish them the best. Is there more to the story? PROBABLY but right now I'm just bummed but I do believe Kreyol La can bounce back from this situation. Some fans may be writing a eulogy for Kreyol La and to them I say don't count them out just yet.

Kreyol la sees every adversity has an opportunity, so I don't think it is the end of the band yet.
I think as long as Tjoe is there, they will bounce back in no time.
