Former TABOU bass player and manager DOF CHANCY tells KM that he has a brand new set of songs ready for TABOU's upcoming CD...if they want it, and he GUARANTEES that it is the HIT CD that they need in order to move the band forward in 2014....but it all will come with 1 CONDITION.
DOF CHANCY: "There is already 1 song COMPLETED with SHOUBOU's vocals on it and all the other guys having played. That has NOT been released yet...and there is much more where that came from, but I have to have a deal with Tabou on paper before I give it to them.
As a studio producer/record producer, it is a bit tough to make your money sometimes, so my deal is for them to repay me on a percentage basis. I am so confident of the results that this set of songs for the cd will bring them, that I only want to get payed by GETTING A PERCENTAGE ON EACH GIG THAT THEY PLAY AFTER THAT CD IS RELEASED. Every Monday pou POUCENTAGE MWEN TONBE NAN ACCOUNT MWEN after they play every gig. That is the best way in my opinion for a record label/producer to get his money back. The cd that is released in my opinion is basically PROMOTION FOR THE BAND.
SHOUBOU was on the line and he was raving about the song already. Shoubou says that IF/WHEN that song is released, it will be the best song ever released on the earthquake that hit Haiti. SHOUBOU also seems to be all for DOF CHANCY (His best friend from Tabou) for getting the deal done with Tabou; but of course, the OK also has to come from the other band owners such as FANFAN, HERMAN, KAPI.
Let's wait and see what happens.
DOF CHANCY says that he is ready to take TABOU to another level with his connections and MUSIC...if "only" they accept the PERCENTAGE DEAL.

[b]PS: DOF CHANCY as manager and maestro of TABOU, is credited back in the days of being the businessman that took the group to another level globally. He is a master of the craft in that area.

Maybe Dof got ahead of himself too much already trying to promote the upcoming CD but to me he could of left this part out

To me that's the part you want to discuss in private with your former band.. What message are trying to send to the public and besides you're currently managing a band, have you made the same offer to them..

Tabou had everything in Dener Ceide to move forward.
I am afraid it is too late.
They need a younger manager, need to invest in good marketing strategy.
They need a younger singer.
I would like to know what was Doff biggest hit in Tabou. |

Why don't Doff take Nu-Look to that Level he is talking about?
I. Kind of agree with with percentage stuff. But it would have to be for every time the band play the song.
That's the only way a promoter can make money in this market.
