Here is RONY EN ACTION's report on the NU LOOK Press conference in Miami last night.

RONY EN ACTION: "Friday November 22nd the greatest PR firm in the HMI: SAVA, presented NU look new album title ( I GOT THIS ) press conference.

The time for the press conference was 7:00-9:00 PM. I got to Moca cafe's parking lot 6:52 pm as it took me about 15 minutes to find a parking spot. When I got there, I was told nothing was ready to start because Arly the main act/Maestro of NU look was not there yet. I noticed Gabriel Laporte, Roro Irene, as well as Dof Chancy were in the building.

About 7:45 pm Arly showed up with his light blue doors Bentley looking for a parking. A lot of media and friends were waiting inside as well as outside for the maestro. It was so hard for Arly to find a parking spot that Pico Evolution Kompa one of the well known HMI drivers had to walk over to guide the maestro so that he could pull right in front of the main entrance.

Gabriel Laporte was the first next to Arly on the set followed by Roro, Ray, chanel, David Lacombre ( ex key for magnum band ). Allow me to report that some of the attendees that I spoke to after the press conference, told me that David Lacombe may not last lost in NU look because of his rigid character. It must also be noted that the bass player Norman Johns was not there for the press conference.

I must tell you that is the first time in a long time I saw Arly Lariviere that joyful before everything got out of hand I will explain later.

A lot of questions were asked but I will do my best to quote all the hot ones. Everything as far as questions went well with the media until a member of the media name Mario Laguerre from West Palm Beach said and I quote him "Laporte mwen te Poze w question sa a déjà le w te nan DISIP ou te repon mwen oui DISIP toutan ( forever) kounye a ou nan NU look Laporte map Poze w meme question an "

Then came Caleb Deraneau with a question "Maestro Kisa album sa replike a: Zenglen, CARIMI, Klass, "ki hit ki gen sou album m sa a a?" Then Mr Caleb walked back to his original seated space; but before Arly answered, he called Mr Caleb back to the mic for a brief exchange. The maestro asked Caleb to name a band in the HMI with an album that has a hit song on it. Caleb asked the maestro if he ( Arly ) listened to all the albums? Arly answered he did not listen to any albums because he has been busy in the studio etc...someone from the crowd yelled Zenglen with REZILTA, Caleb then told him we could not continue the exchange if he had not gotten the chance to listen to any albums.

Last journalist with the break or make it question was TJOEL WEST PALM BEACH. TG asked the maestro: Après Gazzman kite NU look you released a single entitled "SO WHAT". Now you released an album title ( I GOT THIS ) Eske se yon sot de Arogansite ou bien ou vle Montre ou se Arly or se pou l'avencement du Kompa direct? The Maestro said "Anvan mwen repon question Sa, a neg sa se pou Gazzman lap travay! The maestro elaborated about his music career. He said from 2000-2010 who in the HMI have more hits than him? He dared TJOEL to come and prove him wrong. TG did not return nor say anything.

I personally think Caleb and TJOEL could have asked their questions in a better way without trying to provoke the maestro. The same applies for Arly in terms of the way that he responded with his tone of voice. He should have been more professional about it. He has to understand that he is an artist, and that he should be ready to answer all types of questions regardless if they are provocative or not. He should always try to keep a cool head.

The worst thing that happened at the press conference was when everything was over. The media members who were there, expected to be handed a CD, but they were told that not too many were available. After a while Dof Chancy took some CDs to Moca's kitchen while the kitchen was in service and started distributing a few cds to some people. From then on, several ran to the kitchen trying to put their hands on one cd. As a manager it was not the proper way for him to do business. It was so bad that Rodney Noel started to push everybody away from his kitchen, and at the same time told Dof Chancy that he would buy 200 cds from him in order to distribute it for free to the media members that were there. Very few members of the media left with the CD then awhile later, manager Dof Chancy was seen in the parking lot running like a chicken with no head, followed by a few people screaming for a CD."

I'm sorry but I'm gonna keep it real... This is why people don't feel sorry for Arly... He's arrogant, unprofessional, and so annoying...
First off how do you arrive to your OWN event LATE! 2nd you and YOUR MANAGER should have been better prepared... In the sense of providing samples of the CD for the media. It's so annoying to see a guy like Arly with so much freaking talent be the way he is.. And with that being said I shall continue to not support him. Respect to all the nu look fans enjoy the album... But personally H&M cares' ZERO!

i didnt wanna say anything reguarding this but, Bro Arly i have a lotta love for you i respect you as a great musician, at the time of your success you wanna be the most humbled, arrogancy and undisciplined is a turn off, pran sanw sit back on a rocking chair and rethink on the route you wanna go bro because success comes with a lot, 1 of them is humble-ness. thats why we glorify Richie so much as the best in this generation, because of his talent, his DISCIPLINE and he is very HUMBLE. se sak fe nou toujou use li as an example.

For you to say since 2000 to 2010 you have provide the greatest hits show us that you are too prideful and you are gas-ed up, yes you have brought great hits in that time frame but there are many other hits, yon musicien ki se yon leader pa dwe paler nan yon sans koter lap glorifier travay li epi lap besser travay yon lot. pran sanw brodeur there is no need to be gas-ed up bro, minm janw laguer yon bel album nan, konsa ou ka turn moun off tou epiw tander Nu look gen problem, thats why Klass is a great example: ou pa janm tander Richie or Pipo paler konsa, they are very humble men and very disciplined, that played a big part of their success, so its good to use that as an example for your band. with that being said, you did a very good job on the album pran sanw pouw jere sukse a brodeur. that's an advice outta luv bro.

I WAS NOT THERE BUT IT'S PRETTY SAD TO HEAR HOW A MAESTRO WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EXAMPLE FOR THE YOUTH, A MODEL FOR YOUNG ARTISTS TO FOLLOW, BEHAVE IN SUCH WAY. WE KNOW THAT FOR SURE "NEG OKAP SE ROI CHRISTOPHE TOUT VLE YE". THE REACTION WE GOT FROM THE RELEASE OF HIS ALBUM, DIDN'T SHOCK ANYONE BECAUSE ARLY CAN ALWAYS DO GOOD. HE GOTTA UNDERSTAND, ZENGLEN , KLASS, CARIMI GOT THE SAME REACTION. IT IS NORMAL FOR THE FANS TO GO CRAZY SINCE THEY'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HITS FROM MR ARLY. TO TREAT THE MEDIA CORE IN SUCH WAY IS UNPROFESSIONAL. IT COMES TO A POINT WHERE THE HAITIAN PEOPLE GOTTA START SENDING A MESSAGE TO SOME OF THEM ARTISTS. ARRIVING LATE WAS THE STYLE ADOPTED BY OLD FOLKS, IT'S ABOUT TIME FOR THEM TO FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES SET INTERNATIONALLY FOR ARTISTS TO PLAY A SET AT CERTAIN TIME WITHOUT DELAY. WITH THAT BEING SAID, THE TITLE OF HIS CD SET THE TONE, HOWEVER THE SONGS INCLUDED IN THE CD SAY OTHERWISE. WE HAVE TO TEL HIM, HE CAN ALWAYS DO BETTER IF HE STAY KOOL AND ACCEPT CRITICISM AS A WAY TO ADVANCE. HATRED SHOULDN'T BE A PART OF THE GAME. ARLY GOTTA GIVE HIS FAN A CHANCE TO ADMIRE HIS WORKS IN A MUCH BETTER WAY AND BE A TRUE LEADER. AS FOR THE CD, THERE'S A REPLICA TO SAY THE LEAST, BUT THE FAN WILL FIND LOTS OF GROOVES LIVE IN: MOTIVATION, TRIP NAP TRIP, CONFESSIONS AND WHAT ABOUT TOMORROW. LETS HOPE WE START SEEING SOME GREAT RIVALRY BETWEEN NULOOK / DISIP AND ZENGLEN/KLASS IN OUR HMI ONCE AGAIN. GOOD LUCK ARLY AND NULOOK

I see one problem here and only one problem: The manager!! He gotta go!

We can blame Arly for showing up late or for answering arrogantly...etc
The real problem here is that the manager did not prep Arly for the questions. He also did not manage Arly so that he can arrive on time.

I would have left at 7:15.

So Rodney had to buy CDs to distribute to the media??!!!!!
