After it was reported to us by a snitch, that a radio station in Miami had reported that Nu Look had major issues in the city of OKAY last night in Haiti, we made some calls to verify. This is what we got from NU LOOK ally BAZILE JEAN BERTHOL of MIZIK DEPOT.
BAZILE: "What I am being told by my correspondent in Haiti in the city of OKAY, is that NU LOOK showed up at 2 A.M last night for a gig that they had with TVICE when they were scheduled to be there to play at 1. Apparently that did not sit too well with some people, so a promoter by the name of YVON had someone pull a gun on him BECAUSE he did not deliver NU LOOK on time. Apparently he had promised that NU LOOK would be there ON TIME and they were not there on time. The ONLY Nu Look musician who got to the bal early/on time was RALPH CONDE. That caused quite a panic...but NU LOOK did manage to play still."

pou ki tout violans sa menm mezanmi....sa se bagay ki sipoze fet letr bal ap close @ 2am epi djazz la rive pou setup @ 1am...then mwen ta konpran yo |

ou vle fenm konpran ke sa yo fe yan bon, paske bal femen a 5-6am donk yo ka vini a 2 ze. Si Tvice fin jwe a 1 am NuLook rive a 2am tan poul pran pou yo setup etc lap lan 3 ze donk sa yap banm ant 1am e 3am. One of these days someone will get real mad and start shooting like nuts. Nowday people get mad for anything, I won't be surprise if someone goes postal one day. Why it is always the same band with the lateness issue? |

What's wrong with some of my people? What would anyone be threatened by a gun because NuLook is late or didn't show up for a gig? That's so barbaric and so uncivilized. WoW...
SOME OF US REALLY HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO. SO, SO SAD. WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF INDEPENDENCE WHEN SOME OF US ARE ACTING LIKE SAVAGES?

Ralph Conde is from Les Cayes....I guess he probably spent the day in his town with friends and family or even going around the local media promoting his new products...After all Ralph is by far the professional musician in N.L....He takes his career seriously....se pa kale poster fè grimas sipèsta ke Ralph ap regle....

Nu Look played in Ouanaminthe the night before, check on google map from there to les Cayes by CAR. Nu Look has to study their schedule before they engage themselves.
The other musicians got stuck because of a big car accident that happened around Fond des Negres. The population closed the road at one point because they were fed up with the government not fixing that part.
Ralph was there with Ti Papi and Norman not by himself. Also Ralph had a signature release happening during the t vice gig. |
