A source who is extremely close to NU LOOK and PIPO, gave us a call after reading the news about the PIPO/DOF CHANCY encounter in Tampa to tell us this. He did NOT want his name revealed for this piece.

First and foremost I have to tell you that PIPO knows that there is a negative campaign being done against him by SOME close friends/fans of the maestro all over the place ke se nan la ri a or on the internet. SOURCE continues: "PIPO sings on a studio cd for the group...He is the LEAD VOCALIST, and all he got was a $2000 advance for the cd. You are the lead singer who sings most of the songs on the cd, and on top of that you are a member...epi se $2000 li gin nan min li pou travay ke li fe sou yon studio cd. When he first joined the band, PIPO WANTED TO BE A GIGGER...just to get paid for playing the gigs...but NU LOOK insisted that CHANTEUR PAKA GIGGER NAN YON JAZZ, so they convinced him to become a member in the band. SOURCE continues " PIPO has several gigs where he apparently has not been paid. Gin bal NU LOOK/CARIMI ki fet HAITI and NEW YORK ke li pa touche. Gin bal MONTREAL ke li pa touche. There is always TALK when he demands to get payed for his work. If he goes to the manager, the manager says it's not him...it's ARLY. If he goes to ARLY to ask to get payed, he is told it is not him, it's DOF. BAGAY LA TOUNIN YON JWET E YAP PASSE LI NAN TINTIN. It is NOT fair. PIPO is the only one in the band if he does not get payed, who will NOT just sit there and take it like the rest of the guys. Because he does that...YO VLE LAGE YON TAG PWOBLEM ak BET NWA SOU LI. All they are doing is they want him to go and leave some of the money that is owed to him. LI PA BON. If you don't want the guy around...PAY HIM HIS MONEY AND TELL HIM YOU DON'T WANT HIM IN THE BAND....but what they want to do is to try and tarnish his image and NOT pay him in the process. Wow...............it is nothing new within the HMI industry. The bands refuse to pay their musicians. It always a small group or person taking all the monies. Ralph C left before for the same reason. At least Pipo is fighting for his right.
