The award goes to T-VICE "Tanpri Souple"!
ANALYSIS:
*In what was an extremely close contest to the wire (unlike last year when Carimi's Buzz won in a landslide), T-VICE's "Tanpri Souple" was voted by the 40 Member HMI panel as the 2011 MUSIC VIDEO OF THE YEAR edging out Djakout #1, Kreyol La, and Carimi in the process.
*VOTE BREAKDOWN
1) T-VICE "Tanpri Souple" 8 Votes
Ti Joe Zenny, David Dupoux, Katalog, Bobby Jamz, Carl Fred Dega, Ti Michel Tropidisc, Ti Will Tempo, Mickey Rafrechi.
2) KREYOL LA "Avwe" & DJAKOUT "Reyalite A" tied 7 Votes
Kreyol La Votes: Richard Cave, Richie, Mickael Guirand, Mac D, Roody Delpe Karizma, Captain Sam Paris, Moise Tempo
Djakout votes: Fabrice Rouzier, Gilles Freslet, Guy Wewe Vision 2000, Nickenson Prudhomme, Kenny Desmangles Zenglen, Evens Jean, Berto Tempo.
4) CARIMI "Mwen Dezole" 6 votes: Sanders Harmonik, Junior Moschino Montreal, DJ Superduke Boston, Carel Pedre, Nivens Young Quality, Dano Beljaz.
5) HARMONIK "Let's Go" 4 Votes: Flav Gabel, Papa Jube Sobs, DJ 5 Etwal, Ralph Rhau Young Quality NYC.

PS: Olivier Duret's vote for Tanpri Souple was NOT accepted as he is part of the video, even though he is no longer in the band.
TI Pashou's vote for his Gabel bandmate also NOT accepted.

Congrats.
I would have voted for BOPE PA PAPA, for the realism in the story.
But TANPRI SOUPLE is a deserving winner.
