The way HAITIAN SONGS are put together is far different from AMERICAN songs. We ALWAYS have a KEYBOARD SOLO, a GUITAR SOLO in the middle of the song, which is pretty much its highlight, its most savoring part (unless the lyrics are out of this world).

Now, WHY do Haitian Radio Hosts feel the need to run their mouths during that part?

Eske se paske yo KONNEN ke nou ap tann pati sa nan mizik la, that they've already gotten our attention, epi yo chwazi to DROP THEIR NAMES, epi fe dedikas pou yon ti fanm yo ap file? In other words: :"KLERE TET YO"?

I'm TIRED of that crap... I was listening to SCOOP FM about half an hour ago, and I simply had to turn the crap off.

My Living Room or Office isn't your SHOWERS... Nou inviter vwa ou andedan kay nou, pou ou ANIMER, men PA pou ou REMPLACER Jude Jean nor Pipo. KNOW YOUR ROLE, RESPECT YOUR LISTENERS.

It's simply CHEAP.

STOP THE:

-CLAPPING

-FINGER SNAPPING

-HUMMING

-BANGING ON THE DESK....

We're music lovers, you're RUINING it for us. Did you get into Radio because you couldn't hack it as a singer? Kinda like the "Ball Boy" who never made the team?

SA BEZWEN FINI... SELMAN AN AYITI. Se sak fe gen animateurs radios who's head are so big that they feel the need to have their OWN Carnival song.

Be PROFESSIONAL... Se PA KARAOKE NIGHT.

Your observation would translate into you YOU BELIEVING that, the reasons I "thought" they were using these practices, were on point.

I must must be very intuitive; you must be easily pleased and satisfied.

you brought a very good topic Bro...
let me tell you what's going on, most of these so called dj's/radio host are following the same trend of their predecessors...
back in the days, when a song is playing on the air, if you need that song you just set your tape recorder to get that song on a tape cassette, the radio stations when they get an exclusivity of a song to protect it from beeing recorded from another party, just trash it with all type of skit or talks like a trademark or something, well it is followed now by most if not everybody, its turning into a freaking bad habit, i don't listen to radio shows anymore just because of that.
my phone is stacked with songs, whenever i am on the road i just play them.
good post

Se pa selman nan HMI la non... Everytime I'm in NYC I listen tp Hot 97 and they talk in all the songs about upcoming parties...

What Doncue said is true, yo te konn fè sa pou moun pa tape mizik yo live on the air, but now with all the accessibility I don't know...

I understand why they use to do it back in the days but is it still necessary?
