The last time we spoke to COMPASFEST's stage manager RODRIGUE ALCINDOR, he told me that 3 bands were being considered to close the show this year. We asked him again this morning, this is what he told us.
RODRIGUE ALCINDOR: "If it were up to me ONLY without having taken any suggestions from the other members of the festival at a meeting, MY PERSONAL CHOICE WOULD BE CARIMI. Being that KREYOL LA closed the festival last year, and that DJAKOUT has closed it a few times, CARIMI strikes me as the choice. YO GIN BAGAY NAN MIN YO TOU in terms of material to close the show. Again, this is just my personal opinion before making the final decision and talking to others in the staff."

I think Kreyol la shoud close it again this year. Their album is still going strong. But Carimi should be dropping something new soon, their material is getting old. Mind you Carimi jwe byen epi yap fè tout moun vole alèz with their material, but Kreyol la's still got some spice that they can bring and the merengue is really good.
