It all started innocently...and it came out as a QUICK JOKE during a studio session. "RALPH CONDE...MIN LAPORTE....KOURI". Now it is simply a phrase that quite a few people have been using as it has picked up steam. I am pretty sure that GAZZMAN never imagined that a simple phrase like that would be on the lips of many.....What makes the latest GAZZMAN PHRASE tick? (Won't call it a slogan because I am not even sure that GAZZMAN has ever used it in a song as a slogan after that)

It is something major for any artist to have people repeating slogans or phrases coming from their mouths, but when something totally UNEXPECTED pops up, it is even more surprising.

This just a funny phrase to make fun of other people. And it's quiet funny to write it. I don't know if it's that funny saying it.

But Gazman Uses in balls. i have a live CD of Disip that has that sound bite.

Before Gazzman uttered those words in the STUDIO SESSION, Gazzman used to sing those words in LIVE bals.

He would say...

"Min Laporte....Kouri."

But you are right, EVERYONE uses the slogan, even those that hate Gazzman.

Gazzman has a way with words and that is why he is beloved.

I am also confident, that SOMEONE else probably could have said those words and it would not have the effect it has had.
