While I agree with your post, I don't agree with the example. I have that live version of Destin, and it is good but neg yo tap jwe twop.
I personally believe a true guitar maryaj se yon moun kap byen kenbe anba, epi yon lot ap domine anle. Thats what a good marriage is. Two people can not be on top at the same time. But these are my favorite picks of MARRIAGE OF GUITARS. [mainly in the past few years]
Reginald Benjamin - Ronald Smith [greatest]
Pozo - Brutus
LaPorte - Pozo [even though it did not last long]
Ralph Menelas - Levelt
Ralph Conde - Ti Papi
Delices - Ralph Samedi
Pluviose - LaPorte

U have a point there by saying that they played too much on that song but as u it was just for the show. On a rock n roll concert u wouldn't say that they play too much. If u have both live album, listen to them closely n u will see how great those two sounded together. |
Se pa Rock & Roll nap pale. Being an ex-metal guitar player, I can tell you the truth. Kompa has alot more structure in it than any other kind of music, especially when it comes to guitar.
But your right, they did sound great although it was a bit messy. _________________ || all criticism is beneficial & is the gateway to a better you.

sanble gen anpil moun la'a ki pat konnen combo defun Mario Mayala (Sourit) ak Johnny Frantz Toussaint (Ti-Fre) lan Skah-Shah...
se neg sa yo ki te komanse bagay yo...
se te yon lethal combo...
sak pat konnen al mande paran nou....
I am not saying that the other combos yo pat bon men si nap pale de combo, fok nou mansyone 2 neg sa yo avan tout lot yo... |

La Puerta/TI POLIS is my favorite of all time.. I also like Ti Papi and Ralph bc they compliment each other really well.
I think NU KREZI have something good cooking with the two guys. Pozo and Brutus is also a good combo..
I am a huge fan of cord.. I rather my two guitars any day over the one keyboard.. In a live song, I want my six minutes of cord with no interruption or without that LEVE MEN NOU crap...
GIVE MY CORD ALL DAY LONG.. _________________ THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OPINION AND FACTS. |
