JBEATZ: "Good evening KM & Members and everyone

I am going to be a little formal with this one.

It is amazing to see how involved the community is in the HMI. I am very grateful for the involvement because se sak mete mwen la jodia.

Yes I am JBEATZ, a hard working producer in the HMI and like CARIMI said in one of the their hit songs, it is a NASTY business.

I have worked on numerous songs and have proven myself as a producer and song writer in the HMI. My accomplishments follows:

Just to name a few…

To address the issue at hand, regarding Lenn and her accusations about her song. She did forward me the song for me to add my touch to it to make it more commercial, At that time, I told her that I am currently finishing a few projects that I have started and working on my own album so I am not taking on any more work. I listened to the track for about 20 seconds, and never went any further.

Regarding the song that was leaked after hours of investigation and phone calls it was discovered that Lenn leaked her own song. On November 29, 2010 she performed at club Atrium in Miami with DJ 5 Etwal at Kenny Desmangles‘s Birthday bash and gave him the CD with the track on it herself. A phone call between 5Etwal, Lenn and myself brought this to light, Lenn was told by 5etwa l himself that the song was ripped onto his computer on Nov.26, 2010 @ 2:40 in the morning right before her performance. At that point she had nothing else to say. Yesterday a phone conversation between myself DJ 5 Etwal and Evans (Oswald’s manager) was recorded and sent Pat (of KM) to prove I had no involvement in the leakage of her song.

OK, mwen ka konpran’n wap eseye create a BUZZ about herself. But JBEATZ is not the ONE. I was at the performance at club Atrium on that date and we all witnessed what happened during her performance.

I am a hard working producer and song writer on both the HMI and AMI. There is no need for me to steal tracks, when GOD gives me the ability to create them on a daily basis.

Lenn a public apology would be appreciated for your false accusations, for this situation. Since you decided to go public. Proof of Lenn giving her own track away can be provided by Pat and DJ 5 Etwal as needed.

DJ 5 ETWAL's version of events

5 ETWAL: "Hello Pat, KM Board members & KM fans, I go by the name of Dj 5etwal (Miami), I'm here to clarify how Lenn's song got into my possession & also to prove Jbeatz's innocence.

At first I thought that I got the song from an Oswald performance Cd since the track only had Oswald vocals on there. My assumption was incorrect because when I went to the properties of the song on my computer, It was ripped into my library on Nov 29, 2010 at 2:48 am. As a result, I went to my facebook to see who performed that night at my club. Alan Cave, Sandra Nanor, Kenny & Lenn were special guests at my club that night for Kenny Desmangles Birthday bash. To conclude KM, I got the song from Lenn's performance cd, not from jbeatz. This is a false accusation."

SHAKAITUTU's version of events

SHAKAITUTU "Good afternoon Pat and all the KM members,

We are Shakaitutu, the management team representing the artist Oswald. We are writing you today in regards to the situation with Jbeatz/Dj 5.etwal/Lenn/Oswald and in the process talk about Oswald’s involvement in this situation.

Dj 5etwal contacted Evens from Shakaitutu and stated that he heard a song from Oswald and he would like to have our permission to use it on his upcoming project. Evens told Dj 5Etwal that we could work that out and in the same process Evens asked Dj 5etwal to tell him which song he (Dj 5Etwal) is talking about because Oswald has a lot of songs and some of them dated over 11 years.

Since we could not figure out which song Dj 5Etwal was talking about, we asked him to email us the song. He (Dj 5Etwal) sent us the song via email and we quickly realized that It was a song that Oswald was working with Lenn. Evens sent a text message to Dj 5Etwal early yesterday morning (03-29-2011) and asked him to call him (Evens) back whenever he gets up so that Evens can let him know that we could not use the song because it is not our song and that oswald is only featuring on the song. We then contacted Lenn and told her about the situation and asked her how Dj 5Etwal got a hold of the song because it did not come from our camp. And that’s how the whole situation came about.

Since it was alleged by Dj 5Etwal that Oswald gave the song to him when he performed at his party in November 2010, we want to make it clear that the only time that Oswald went to Club Atrium Complex (formerly known as Club premier) in Fort Lauderdale, Fl was on Sunday June 20, 2010. During the month of November 2010, Oswald spent less than 48 hours in Florida. He arrived in Miami on Thursday November 11, 2010. He performed at Hibiscus Nightclub in Sunrise, Fl on Friday November 12, 2010 along with Alan Cave, Identity, Flav, and others. He left for Fort Lauderdale airport right after the performance. Oswald returned to Florida in Mid-March 2011 for a couple of gigs and to promote his album release.

The issue was to find out how this same situation came about and how it can be resolved. Our position is not to blame anybody but to make it clear that Oswald is not responsible for Dj5etwal having that song. It is unfortunate that the situation has gotten this far and hopefully once all parties give their statements, the situation can be resolved and everybody move on. We have talked to Dj5Etwal, Jbeatz, and Lenn, and all parties are expected to send their own statement to Kompamagazine.com.

JEAN, I don't think you understand the story here my brodeur. I didn't work on the song. She only send it to me only to listen to it. She assumed that i was the one who sent it to Dj 5 etwal and did't remember giving it to him.The song was never leaked out nor did anyone put it on a CD COMPILATION. Ohh, about the guys defending me?
