what am saying is that...

kreyol la and fans are working too hard to make a mega hit out of one of those love/mid tempo songs...
while... any of those fast tempo song on the album could have done the job and carry the LP...

too many love songs... they are all too good... they will do their damage anyway...

2 videos released, back to back slow/mid tempo songs.. ONE OF THEM COULD AT LEAST BE "M'AP BOURE OR AA VOYE OR MOVE FLANNÈ"...

big big big mistake by kreyol la... opportunity wasted once more... don't know how they're going to come back from that one...

you can file REVOLUTION in the same cabinet as "BRASE" and "VAN VIRE".... really OUTSTANDING WORK... BUT WASTED!!!

Personally Oui ou non is one of my favorite, I think this album is by far one of the best album from this band. I don't know if Cheri-m geri will be a major hit, but I will say this Kreyol La right now is a serious contender. This album gave them all the ingredients they needed to be amount the top bands. By the way AA voye is doing damage in the club right now; I'm so in love with this album.

The first couple of weeks when I first heard the song, I was like "Oh that's a nice song', but I didn't really give it much attention. I was forced to go back and listen to it more and more, and feel the grove, enjoy the ironical lyrics after I have witnessed the way people were calling radio stations to request it in Miami and Broward.

From the reaction of people from age 17 to 35 to the song in Miami-Dade and Broward when the song is being played at a club, birthday parties, or other private home parties, plus the frequent requests made on radio in these 2 areas for the past 5-7 weeks, plus a number of times I have seen people on facebook use the slogan "CHERI'M GERI" as status update or others who make it their text message signature for their mobile phone, I can say the song is alreay a HIT, or maybe a super hit.

However, it might never be a mega hit or major hit. That's why I say CHERI'M GERI MIGHT BE A MAJOR HIT AS THE YEAR GOES BY. That means, if nothing hotter is dropped to shift people's attention away from the increasing popularity of Cheri'm Geri and if radio and club DJs keep on pushing it, it MIGHT be.

It's not really the tempo of the song that make it popular, but the slogan and some of the lyrics used that a lot of us who were born and raised in Haiti and who have been in relationship can relate to.

I am not doing the VOYE MONTE for Kreyol-la as one of the posters alleged. I am just speaking from the reactions to the song during the last few parties I have gone to and when I play it during my radio show.
BUT I MIGHT BE WRONG, BECAUSE THIS IS JUST AN ASSUMPTION
