ZENGLEN superstar RICHIE wanted to share with you guys his thoughts on PATRICK ST. ELOI. This is what he told KOMPA MAGAZINE.

RICHIE "Pat, nouvel sa pa bon menm man. I grew up with KASSAV's music and Patrick was always my favorite singer in the band. He also played the guitar (Left handed) and was a good percussionist. I met him in French Guyana a few years ago and while I was telling him that I'm such a big fan, he was admitting to me how much he loves my work. That was one of my happiest days in the business."

RICHIE continues "4 years ago, he was supposed to come see ZENGLEN in France and when I did not see him, I was a little dissapointed; but during the break, a beautiful woman introduced herself to me and told me that she was there on Patrick's behalf because something had come up. I'M GONNA MISS THIS BROTHER. May God be with his family. SAD...SAD s*%* indeed."

I feel your pain. I never met him, but he also was my favorite in Kassav.
