solid breakdown Mr. Pat. I personally enjoy koupab because it is truth that he is delivering. bope pa papa is a good subject but it is over shadowed by the fact padone m was the main theme, I think. The title of the song should of been developed more then it would of been unique. But over all I think it will definitely work on the live circuit. Adieu, kwe mwen, and hold on to your dreams were to me what makes this album different from what we are used to from Gazman. PsT could of been on that list but there are certain parts that I noticed his voice was not on point, maybe it was his delivery, I can't put my fingers on it. It was not his best work, to put it nicely. The konpa tracks are solid too and nothing new to expect except maybe the new slogans.

Even though the album has a lot of pamela e manuela ladan l, meaning self love, lol (forgive the spelling or reference to konpa kreyol song), it is a solid album for the public to groove to but it has to be sold live and it will serve its purpose; that is an intro to Disip, still not sure what the movement is about though. The feel and production value of the album definitely improved from Pa Kondane m and that Laporte song. Will it carry the band long term, only time will tell and Disip holds part of that answer.

As for those, who say Gazman has never been given the opportunity to show this side of him, well I think Gazman himself said that Nu Look had a formula that was working and why should they change it. If he wanted to be showcased more as a writer, than he should of been vocal about it not passing the word through the Kolon'n, or to the very least find a different way of approaching that issue in public if he didn't want to discus internal matters.

Thanks, this is a great review.... The CD is indeed a great CD. I was in Brooklyn sunday, I heard the CD balsted in 2 different cars that were passing by.... I have many friends who cannot wait to hear some of the songs LIVE....

I think DISIP has a gold mine in their hand.... I cannot wait to see how Laporte is going to integrate the son lari a in those songs... Some of them, I truly believe will be breath taken.....
