According to close sources, there are 3 songs on the table for THE FIRST MUSIC VIDEO (They will have more)...but they are having some sort of dilemma that maybe you guys will be able to help with.

The 3 songs are

*KOUPAB
*BOPE PA PAPA
*KOLON'N

They have a STRATEGY behind why they want to release each one of them, and as you know, a music video costs money, therefore the sale of a cd could rest/weigh a lot with the first music video.

*KOUPAB - We were told due to the lyrics regarding HAITI, it would be an ideal situation to push/sell over there right now + plus they are thinking the fact that it is NOT a typical Gazzman song; it might attract other fans that are not already attached to the group.

*KOLON'N - They recognize that it appeals to the typical GAZZMAN/NU LOOK fan, and it could be a salute to that demographic to let them know that Gazzman is back in full force

*BOPE PA PAPA - They feel the song can relate to fans and non-fans of the group in general and also because they feel it can do well with a great storyline.

If "you" were part of the decision making process...WHICH ONE OF THOSE 3 songs would you go with "FIRST" and tell us why. The crew I am sure will be reading.

For me Koupab could've potentially been an impactful video if doen right but sadly I haven't really seen any good Haiti-related videos in a while (maybe Nou2 - pou ayiti was the last good one)

So I vote for Bope pa Pappa...really good topic, storyyline is already there...get a couple of good actors/actresses and make it happen. Mwn ka envision Gazzman the actor avec emotion nan video sa

I think they need at least three videos for this album.
First: I would go with "Koupab" becuase this will be very appropriate for the current state of Haiti and has very powerful messages....

Second: I would go with "Bope Pa Papa"

Third: I would go with "Adieu" because I feel this song has a great storyline already....i can see Gazman dressing in all black nan simetyè a ap pote fleur pou moun sa ki te tres cher ak li....it would be a sad storyline, but it would have a big impact and wouldn't be typical...


Four: "Kolon" but the begening part of "Mission" for the intro...and the ending part "Banm Gaz"....if the transitions are smooth enough this will work....


the last video of the album should be "Pas Sans Toi" ...thiscan do well in the Francophone....and give Gazman/dISIP new fans...


all the videos don't have to be the same budget or very high budget...quality and storyline is the key...

i watch some of the best rock videos that have very simple storylines and low budget and still win "best video" awards....


your aim shouldn't trying to top "buzz".....the hmi doesn't have award shows with "best video" categories....lol...

you just need great quality and a good storyline...get sponsors to pay for these videos....

The second part of that song is 100% PURE OU SE... You can lay it right on top of Ou Se, it'll perfectly sync up. Oh please.

As far as the lyrics, they're typical Gazzman lyrics.

Still the best song on the CD tho.


*That Bope Pa Papa song is not all it's cracked up to be, most people like it pou lot moun ka di "ah se pa mizik fe bri selman misye renmen". No need for a video.

That BOPE PA PAPA song isn't that creative, 5 ETWAL fe'l sou albom yo, Richie fe'l avek NANOUE. Anpil moun te leve nan deye Richie pou Nanoue, saying that the concept was a 5 ETWAL copycat job. Gazzman fe'l MENM moun sa yo ap aplodi. Threads yo la!

[size=18]It's not the same thing... Nanoue was about a stepfather raping his step daughter. Bope Pa Papa is about a man who is trying to come in his ex-wife's life as she's about to marry another who will be his children's stepfather. There are no talks about a bad stepfather, but just that a father will love his own kids more than a stepdad.
