 |
|
This is what GABEL producer PATRICK FABRE told us today after he read the GABEL/JBEATZ news article from earlier today.
PATRICK FABRE "Tell JBEATZ that I am NOT a rookie. LI PAKA "BRASSE'M". DI LI AL "BRASSE" YON ROOKIE. Tell him that after he sells the song, he needs to return my deposit. People can no longer use my money to take care of their needs and using Gabel as an excuse to make me jump. Apparently, the producer needs some cash badly at this moment. Hopefully, he finds a buyer very soon to bail him out. Just ask him to please return my deposit and we have no problem and he can keep his mega hit."
PATRICK FABRE continues "I am going to keep it real and say why I did not return his call. He turned me off. Why? Not only did he charge me more money for this song "Baby Come Back" than what he charged me for "Ou Se Melodi'm", he asked me 5 times more money than what I payed for the rapper last time; and that's on top of what I am paying him for this song. DI JBEATZ LI PAKA "BRASSE'M"

Haha, he admitted that he PURPOSELY did not return his calls, because he's charging him more this time than he did the last time?
That's funny, the guy already proved that he can give you a hit, so this time around the price has gone up. That's called GREED, yon neg ki vle TOUT pou li at the expense of another. Ou PA ka manjer vant deboutonin konsa.
Is Gabel playing bals these days for the SAME price tag that they did when they first started?
Se oumenm selman ki pou grandi?
Gro yo TOUJOU ap kraze piti yo... This all sounds so childish, tankou timoun middle school, "oh wi, li vle chaje'm plis". So, you KNEW you were going to play him, but you made him think you were gonna buy from him, just to get your little revenge? Some people needs to act like grown ups. _________________ Chillin in Konpa Land!!! |

It has always been fun to work with Gabel, unfortunately we have come to a crossroad that in order for it to be resolved Mr Fabre will have to hold up to his end of the deal. I mean, 3 semaine après nou te fi’n gen yon deal and you are not answering or returning calls does not show signs of professionalism…
(GON'W JAN POU'W YE)
The song was completed prior to a deposit being received. I see music before money, something Mr. Fabre will never be able understand.
My track record for previous artist that I am working with and will continue to work with will prove that.
Anyway I’ve chosen to remain a professional and address the situation at hand. After a conversation with Flav, this afternoon, I have decided to hold the track until further notice…
