In the history of the popular Haitian music there are a series of songs about VERY OLD WOMEN and VERY YOUNG MEN........that were made over the years.
I will try to remind you of some of them, feel free to add some more title or even the music itself in order to bring some more light on the subject...
The popular band JAZZ DES JEUNES did the song "CELINA" in which they talked about an old lady name Celina who was only interested in younger man. MEN CELINA OU PA WE OU FINN GRANMOUN CELINA, MEN POUKISA OU PA CHECHE POY OU DARATI....
The band ACCOLADE DE N.Y tackled the subject in two different songs. The first one is "MADAN JULES"...in which they said MADAN JULES RENMEN TEENAGER SON GRANMOUN KI GUEN PIE LEJE
The second one is LATIAMIMI on that one they really gave it to the old mama...by saying BANN ZOBOB SE OU.....KOK KATRE SE OU FO FE ATANSYON POU ATELIE A PA TONBE-LATIAMIMI OU PA WE TAN FINI PASE -OU LAGUE TI MONM NAN POUL SA ALE....
COUPE CLOUE went direct to the subject in the song FULL TANK...and as you he liked to play with words when he said GRAN MOUN NAN MANDE FULL TANK LI....
One of the songs that contributed in the popularity of the singer Dieudonné Larose was the one about an older woman by the name of GRANN NANNA who went straight to a young man to say MWEN GUEN PWOBLEM SENTIMENTAL ESKE'W DAKO POUM OKIPE'W A KONDISYON POU RET TOU LUMEN....
Is it that today's generation artists don't care about such subject or we just don't have this kind of relationship anymore in our society.....today the word is COUGAR....Are there any out there now? ...
Since those songs were very successful, today's artists can put on their own touch on the subject especially with the new term COUGAR... because CELINA-MADAN JULES - LATIAMIMI-GRANN NANNA were all Cougars...
Cougar—a woman over 40 who sexually pursues younger men, typically more than eight years her junior.[5] The origin of the word is debated; however, it is thought to have first appeared in print on the Canadian dating website Cougardate.com[6] and has been used in TV series, advertising and film. The 2007 film Cougar Club was dedicated to the subject and in Spring 2009 TV Land aired a reality show called The Cougar. A new show called Cougar Town, explores the difficulty and stigma of many so-called "Cougars".

Intereting post.....
These kind of relationships still exist out there. However, most of the time, these young men are not openly showing to the society their ties with the 'cougar' in their life, for fear of ridicule etc..
I would add to the new cougar in today's society that she's the one paying the bills and taking care ( lans sens creole la
 ) of the guy in question.

At this point i think it's more important to write songs about older men who wants to date minors.
It is a cancer that is eating away at our society.
Mothers selling their daughters off to these older men just because they can provide... and the youg girls who feel they have no choice.
