Yon peyi gen yon Prezidan ki pa mouri, pou madafaka pakab monte TV o bien radio pou'l bay etas peyi'a... Misyer pat mem Palais, se Canaperve misyer ter yer... Pou di'm yon Prezidan pa gen kek system pou'l pale avec pep li... Mwen pa give a ish jan Ayiti pov, fok gen yon radio ka mem kap marche... I bet you, madafaka se gwog li tap bwe, epi li sou! Map pare tan li monte radio pou'l vin pale krak...
And call me harsh if you want.. But you know something.. It took this earthquake for Haitians to wake up... In terms, the country is finally going to get infrastructure, school system, may attract tourism, will definitely invite new investments, and hopefully cement new politics in Haiti.. It's a shame it took tragedy to invoke change.... But with a country with such lost hope, sometimes it takes bloodshed to bring dreams to sleepers...
You guys may call me cold-hearted etc... But as I write now, 3am... I have no word from my father, who's believed to be not too far from the epicenter... So se pa peyi'a map pale mal no... San mwen koule rouge et bleu... It's the truth... A lot of people are upset CNN is broadcasting truth about the country... Yes it is the poorest in the western hemisphere, yes we do not have adequate machinery to respond to such crisis, and yes Haiti has been in unrest in the last 200yrs... Fok nou sispan bay tet nou manti, pou yo ka aide nou... Fok nou sispan di lakay nou pwop, epi li bien sal.. _________________ Se Nou Ki Nou, A Pre Nou, Se Nou, N'ap Tou Jour Nou |

Patzan moin dako avek tout sa ou di la and I hope in the morning u can hear from ur dad and all your loved ones downthere.
Now to answer your question from the other post....
There is no need for CNN to keep on dwelling and focus on the negative and weaknesses of a country over and over again, everyone in their mamas already know Haiti is a poor country, WHY every 5 min Haiti is 80% below poverty line, people there living under $ 2 a day,No fire Dept No this No that? _________________

I'm sure there is a way to get in touch with people...cause his wife put out a statement to say " they were both okay ". However shouldn't our president talk to the people and motivate young people to go out and help?
This is an opportunity for us ...young people to realize that we need to start a movement ...cause until we kick these types people out of power...nou pa pral aucun cote.
Let's not blame CNN matter of fact I praise them ...the only TV that stays on the news for the whole day...of course they have to talk. this is a reportage and same thing will be in rotation until they have new stuff.
I dont care about being a poor haitian..i am proud one...!!! _________________ INTRODUCING YOUR BUSINESS TO THE WORLD..!! |

I understand your frustration man...trust me!
But I too am tired of hearing "Haiti is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere" every 30 seconds...as freaking if!!!!
Hope your father makes it out ok! _________________ Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

Lakay ou pa manke ingra Papa. Moun couche a'p mouri and only thing you care about is what people are saying, kisa CNN di ki pa verite, eske nou gen yon bon fire department, eske nou gen yon bon search and rescue team, eske nou genn yon bon gouvernman vre, i guessed the truth hurt some. Bay CNN yon break pou mwen _________________ "International Red Cross urges donations at critical times..... and this is our moment to act. Please call 1800-Red-Cross". |

Monche mwen ave' w nan kesyon govenman ou di ki absan pandan ke yon pep finn afekte pa yon tel chok....neg ki swa dizan prezidan peyi pa menm ka dirije yon ti boutik.... sa montew ke pa gen leader sa a se yon opotinite pou govenman pou konsyantize pep la pou ede yonn lot.
Malerezman gen de fwa se yon trajedi ki fe yon pep met tet yo ansanm epi pran konsyans rekonstri yon peyi.
Mwen pa vreman konsene de jan CNN ap dekri mize pep la paske nou paka ap bay te nou manti.... le monde we nan ki mize atros ke nou ye yo ka pran konsyans yo menm tou de soufrans nou epi ba nou sipo ke nou bezwen nan moman an pou nou ka sove moun ki anba blok ki blese ki mouri epi ede nou rekonstri peyi a kom sa dwa. |

I was just about to write a post about like this myself.
Where is the president?
I was told earlier this morning they are hiding for fear of their lives because many people if they see them tou fini avec yo. When things get calmed they will pop up as I was told. I guess do not expect to this president anytime soon.
Good thing is in all this disaster the National Palace is now gone with the Paliament building too. Them places housed the makats that has led Haiti into this abyss and quite honestly Haitian people need better. _________________ Statehood or Bust |
