KM: Do you remember WHERE YOU WERE when the 9/11 disaster took place? How did you find out about it, and what was going on in your mind?
*MICKAEL GUIRAND (CARIMI): "I was across the street from the disaster Pat... This is one memory that I would love to forget... Seeing all those bodies fly from the towers and crash on the ground... I have seen a lot of bad stuff after 1986 in Haiti but this is the first time that I was part of spmething so big... I felt like I was nothing and my life was worthless... God bless those who died that day..."
*ALEX ABELLARD (ZIN): "I was still in bed and I found out by turning on my TV. I just thought that America was about to go to war to respond to the attack, which is what happened."
*SANDRA CADET (Formerly of Zin): "Wow great questions. I have trouble remembering taumatic events....but I believe I was at work. I mostly recall first feeling confused as if I was having an outer body experience. Then the feeling of panic took hold of me as thoughts of, "oh my God!!!! The world is coming to an end and my loved ones are scattered all over the world and I can't tell them I love them because none of these freakin phones are working!!!!!" Wow!!!! Let's all really use today as a reminder that everyday is a precious gift of love and that tomorrow is not promised. I love you all and may the Lord continue to bless and keep you and your love ones."
