SYSTEM BAND insider and assistant TI JEAN MARASSA told Kompa Magazine that DJAKOUT MIZIK has a lot to do with the popularity of SYSTEM BAND going down the way that it did, because they were playing a modernized style of the group, which in turn connected with the younger crowd that was following the band and more.
TI JEAN says that "other factors" are also in the mix, but DJAKOUT was absolutely part of the issue as well.

TI MITOU's CONDITION IS THE OTHER HALF, ALONG WITH TINES VINCENT MOVING TO FLORIDA TO BE WITH HIS FAMILY ARE THE OTHER FACTORS. ALSO SOME BACK AND FORTH WITH REGINALD AND MANAGEMENT.

Why didn't you modernized your style?
System band is and will remain an iconic band in the HMI, and it is no
question that Djakout's style has a lot of System's ingredients in it, but if
you fail to maintain your popilarity as high as it used to be, please don't go ahead
and blame Djakout as a major part of that cause it's simply not the solution.
