i have a big problem with the haitain culture when it come for the women to go to the gyn. we are always waiting until something is not working right down there to go see the doctor. every time am going to see my gynecologist the first question my friends ask me is "r u sick"? the vagina is one of the most important part of our body we should take good care of it. are we not comfortable, or are we afraid to go. ladies let me know what is the problem. |

I didn't know this was a problem within the Haitian community.. Who, in their right mind, only waits til there's a problem to see your Gyno?! .. unless you're referring to the way its done in the Motherland.. which I have no clue on how things are performed down there. But being a female adult in the US, thats a must for all females.. _________________ Walk With Faith... Not Fear... Free Yourself.. "The Vision" |

I am not aware of that either.
Even in Haitim i think people know they should be going to see a GYN on the regular.
Now whether they can afford it is a whole different story. _________________ A man who has taken possession of his own mind may take possession of anything else to which he is justly entitled_ Carnegie |

Veye yo !

WELL I DONT KNOW ABOUT SAYING DA "HAITIAN COMMUNITY". I THINK
ITS JUST DA CLOSE MINDED HAITIANS, BECAUSE MY MOM SURE DIDNT
RAISE ME 2 BE A SALOP
ITS MORE THAN HAITIANS IN GENERAL I THINK ITS MOST FEMALES DAT
REALLY DONT TAKE GOING 2 DA GYN SERIOUSLY.
I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND AND SHE REFUSE 2 GO 2 DA DOCTOR
BECAUSE SHE DONT WANNA PAY 4 INSURANCE THROUGH HER
JOB TO ME DATS JUST STUPID
I THINK AS A FEMALE U SHOULD KEEP UP WITH UR GYN, AND UR
DENTIST, AND REGULAR CHECK UP FOLLOWS WIT UR REGULAR
