The issue might be the way that ALAN CAVE wants some of his songs to be performed, maybe it is not possible with ZIN because they might have a set way that "ZIN" plays "LIVE", as compared with ALAN CAVE & FRIENDS group. Musicians are different in the way that they play different styles or types of music.

That is true and I just realize that is another reason you see ZIN where it is today because when you go to their party they do not play most of Alan's songs. And, it is disadvantage for the band so they can't have more popularity than they used to. If I go to ZIN to dance, I would like to listen to most of Alan's song 
Anyway, congrats to AC & Friends

THis is EXTEREMELY important insofar that here you have A WHOLE CONTINENT , that does not make the difference between what's KOMPA and what's ZOUK. In africa, especially in the francophone ocountries, they listen to A LOT of ZOUK and when they stumble a kompa song it's ZOUK to them caus ethey can't tell the difference. We're losing an entire market because of a little misinformation and confusion.
It's about time HMI bands go down there and represent and educate! Alan CAve and Friends are starting the job Carimi has an Africa tour coming up, hopefully others will folow.
