DJAKOUT has had VISA/PETITION issues since.....
They knew that they would NOT be able to make it this past weekend in FLORIDA for a couple of gigs...YET THEY LEFT THE FANS HANGIN'.
They chose NOT to put out a PRESS RELEASE to let their fans know that they would NOT be there, whether it's on purpose, to not reveal that info to the fans, or whether it was to protect the promoters' bal...IT IS WRONG!
When a band does that to PROTECT A PROMOTER'S BAL, it means that THEY ARE ACCOMPLICES in trying to CONCEAL/HIDE THE TRUTH from the public.
DJAKOUT IS "NOT" THE ONLY BAND THAT DOES THAT.
AGAIN...DJAKOUT IS "NOT" the only band that does that...heck, KREZI did it last week, and waited a week later to send out a press release.
DJAKOUT as "JAZ PEYI A', like they are known, DESERVES TO BE HONEST WITH THE FANS, if only because of what they represent by carrying that tag as "JAZ PEYI A".
"JAZ PEYI A" should stand for HONESTY, at least one of the criterias should be that.
Fans in WASHINGTON D.C, NEW YORK, and FLORIDA have basically been told by DJAKOUT "WE DON'T FEEL YOU NEED AN EXPLANATION FROM US".
Is that fair? These same fans that buy your cds, and pay their money to come to YOUR bals? YOU OWE THEM AN EXPLANATION.
Why be like this with DJAKOUT on this one? Because IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME that they have totally ignored a very important issue that DESERVES AN EXPLANATION, and they have chosen to SWEEP IT UNDER THE RUG by kissing off the fans.
NOT FAIR...NOT FAIR....NOT FAIR!
DJAKOUT....That is NOT the way to start your 2009!

Like you said Pat, when ANY HMI band does it, it's just PLAIN WRONG and I don't care how you spin it, it just shows a lack of respect to the fan/consumer.
Let's just hope this will be the LAST time it happens but who am I kidding.
