Le lead vocal et guitariste du groupe de Compas Direct T-Vice, Roberto Martino, 31 ans, a été victime d’une électrocution mardi matin aux premières heures au moment où le défilé du deuxième jour gras du carnaval haïtien touchait à sa fin.
La principale vedette de l’orchestre, qui serait sérieusement touchée, a été transportée d’urgence dans un hôpital de Port-au-Prince pour y recevoir des soins appropriés.
A l’origine d’embouteillages monstres pendant quelques minutes au Champ de Mars, sur le site du carnaval, l’accident a été, selon les premières informations, provoqué par un court-circuit sur le char de T-Vice. A cet instant précis, les musiciens commençaient à déconnecter leurs instruments sur ordre de la Police Nationale qui venait d’annoncer la fin du défilé vers 03h00 du matin (08h00 GMT).
Des fans qui s’apprêtaient à rentrer chez eux quand ils ont appris la nouvelle étaient sous le coup de l’émotion.
Auteur de quelques des derniers grands succès de la musique dansante haïtienne, T-Vice est depuis plusieurs années l’un des ténors du grand carnaval de Port-au-Prince qui attire en trois jours plusieurs millions de spectateurs cumulés.
Roberto Martino est à la tête du groupe avec son frère cadet Reynaldo. Fils du célèbre guitariste haïtien Robert Martino, le jeune chanteur est aussi le gendre de l’ancien Premier ministre désigné Robert Manuel. spp/Radio Kiskeya

This report basically says that ROBERTO MARTINO got electrocuted at the end of the 2nd day of carnival...where he had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
We'll try to get the info for you in terms of where it's at.

Wow. Hope everything is ok with Roberto. This makes it back to back years that a member of T-Vice has been electrocuted....
