It seems that our article about the female HMI artists SEEMINGLY unable to get things done by themselves unless they are under the guidance of a male guru must've touched a nerve with some female artists in the industry. If it woke up some of them to get them to GET UP AND DO SOMETHING WITHOUT HAVING TO DEPEND/RELY/WAIT on ONE PERSON holding all the keys to your career...GOOD.

I will NOT name which female artists spoke to me about that...we'll keep that private.

KM!

Well, I am glad if the comments here did not sit too well with some our female HMI artists. Maybe some of them will do something about it to PROVE US WRONG.

Time will tell...... BUT I ain't holding my breath.

You guys have no idea what these artists are going through to get the recognition that they deserve. I know several female artists that gave up on the HMI and just are right now performing with Spanish band and Jamaican band because they said they get recognized for their talent not some kind of cake that each male member of the band or producers are trying to get a peice of.

Carabella

Anyone in particular might you be referring to in terms of the FEMALE ARTISTS or PRODUCERS?

This might be a dumb wish list BUT I wish that Emeline Michel would come out with a bio about her trials, tribulations and triumphs within the Haitian Music Business. Some of her experience might help future female artists NOT fall into some traps. JUST A THOUGHT.

Yeah they should start supporting our haitian artists. i know one female artist that have a cd out right now , and the cd sound very good , are they going to support it no . but they will be the first one to critisize it. so ladies go support our female artists. patricia juste have a new album out and it is very nice go support her .
