Nothing change - The overhead and the musician payroll, expense for the float sound equipment and the rest are still the same... In fact, I would love to know if the band is doing it for free... I wonder how much they charge for advertisement.. I bet you that they charged more for advertisement that they did last year... There is a lot of money to be made in kanaval.... again, 50,000 gourdes = $1250 ... I do not see the big deal here.... This post does not addresss the other expenses only the cost par carreau.... Most band cost rises tremendously to play for one night, how can they raise their price and others cannot for their services... This is capitalism brother !!! - I used to pay $15-20 to go to a haitian party.. That things went up by %100... The least to expect to pay now is $25 minimum.... Bands are ripping off the consumers and you know it !!!
