Thanks pat for the post...Truly appreciate it.
Many people are apprehensive when traveling to Haiti after long periods of dormancy because they do not know where to go to find space on stands, where to find a safe haven to enjoy the festivities comfortably, thus sometimes they opt out of traveling and stay home instead. NY United allowed many of these travelers to have a place to go where they would be entertained on the stand, where they would find food and beverages to fill their spirits and where they could find the commonality in friendship.
Due to the success of NY United in 2008, the committee has decided to replicate their attempts by building another stand on Champs de Mars and advertising it in New York and already the word of mouth from last years triumph have traveled quickly because reservation have been abundant.
We will have :

Free T-shirts
Safe environment

Daphnee, this has nothing to do with New York, New York.
The New York, New York is not a public stand but rather a private affair for our friends and family..
We have been at the same location for 12 straight years..
