I don't know, I was under the impression ke mermaid se yon bel-kreati lanmè  ... Hum mayb I am wrong, I use mermaid as my avatar here on KM from time to time... I even have a few figurines at home that I bought in Saint Domingue years ago... But mermaid sa laid papa...

Like I said " I like mermaids" so I had to check this out 4 myself...U know get some "granmoun" involved n stuff
So it's not true. This thing was made by a sculptor of mermaids... His name is Juan Cabana...
