It seems that a few people in HMI land (Promoters, radio announcers) have been talking a lot in recent days about NU LOOK allegedly about to jump ship to the FORT LAUDERDALE FESTIVAL in May of 2009, when we clearly know that they are being advertised at COMPASFEST, where they have been regulars there for years. Being that NU LOOK is still in Haiti on their tour, we called up JOJO LORQUET of the FORT LAUDERDALE festival to ask him about that. This is what he told me.

JOJO: "All I am saying on this issue is that WE ARE TALKING. I have spoken to both ARLY and GAZZMAN. Time will tell. That's all that I am going to say about this."

Is JOJO/FORT LAUDERDALE FESTIVAL serious or are they bluffing?

We wish we could dismiss his claim with a snap of the fingers, but the other common denominator is NU LOOK, and we know that DEALS can become a bit complicated when it comes to NU LOOK.

We'll hopefully see soon KOTE NU LOOK KANPE.

PAT, TO BE HONEST WITH YOU, I AM PRETTY SURE NU LOOK WILL PLAY FOR NOEL AND CECIBON BECAUSE I DO NOT THINK JOJO IS SERIOUS!
