Pat summed up the night pretty well. I had a BLAST last night and my band did not DISAPPOINT. They played all of my favorites “Mal" (@JayBK - mwen konnen, the real SONG OF THE YEAR) to “Ler Nap fe Lamou”and “Webe” which was a treat. Manno Obas killed it and the camaraderie he has with his old band mates is still there and he looked like he really ENJOYED jamming with the fellows. It was nice to see how many HMI personalities was there to support my band. I believe the WHOLE CaRiMi crew was there including Steve Desrosier but I could be wrong. The overall sentiment from fans and musicians alike was that Mizik Mizik may not be the most active band but when you see them live you realize what is all the HYPE about. Djazz mwen bon tonerrrrrrrrrrrrrr and I was willing to shout it off the SOBs rooftop if they let me.

I tried to keep my composure throughout the night but sometimes I just let my inhibitions go and I just danced my LadyK heart away. It was sooooooo nice to finally meet the man KMPat, who I regret I didn’t try to dance with but it will be one of my new year’s resolutions, (don’t worry Pat, I don’t bite, well at least not hard ). As always it was a pleasure hanging out with my KM/epav buddies you know who you are.

@Mizik Mizik - loves you, please come back again.

@Aesha - I temporarily borrowed your Dancing Disco Queen crown for the night, I hope you don’t mind.

OMG, I had so much fun singing along that I felt that I was 17-18 again.

I wasn't the only one, Manno Obas was enjoying this tme so much on stage... the same dance, the same slogan of 15 year ago; Only Vardy Pharel was missing.

Shedly Abraham just proved me again that he is master on the drums, the guy played like he's been playing with Mizik Mizik for long; also it's not easy to keep up with the best gongist the HMI ever produced: Shoupit Jacquet

Yves Albert Abel run the bass in a song like nothing serious was happening; the guy was at ease!

I enjoyed so much that it will be ok for me not to go to any other party for the rest of the year, I'd be just fine with that!
