OMG...no lie PAT Evie and I were just discussing this yesterday but really are there any real "STARS" in the HMI?? I guess it depends on your definition of a "STAR" I guess but I don't know I just can't call it...I guess I'm kinda biased cuz I'm thinking "STAR" like AMI artists, Hollywood etc... and I have yet to see anyone reach that caliber in the HMI the closest to it I guess would be Wyclef but is he really HMI per se?? I don't know its a tough one so I can see where Sweet K is coming from

I'm not really comparing the AMI and the HMI but for someone like me that grew up out here my definition of "STAR" is very different from others. I'm not knocking our musicians and personalities and I hope its not coming across that way, I think they're popular in their market but besides that I don't know where else they would get that "STAR" recognition. Like I said the closest person that I would give that to would be Wyclef but I don't know if that really counts cuz is he really HMI??

Jimbo, sorry my intention was not to put anybody down with my comment. I know how hard our artists are working. I just think that they have not yet reach the STAR level in my opinion.

So just because I may see them walking down the street or at other locations I'm supposed to fall over myself trying to get their attention....Do you know me??? I'm the last person to do that and yeah I actually have seen a couple and some recognize me as I recognize them and its just a respectable Hello, how are you, you played well and I'll see you at the next bal and keep it moving and some I see and I don't care for and keep it moving as well Not because I don't honor their craft but I'm not that awe struck type of person
