It's expected that new bands get it hard on this board... Established bands already made their marks so they will be judged differently.

I think the board is waiting for new bands to make them say WOW!!
Unfortunately although this song is 'ok', it doesn't impress enough.
The board needs a little bit of originality and some buzz from a new band

C) VOCALS 3 the singer needs a low in his voice

D) SUBJECT MATTER/LYRICS 4 lyrcis is good and straight forward

SUMMARY/CLOSING ARGUMENT: I like the groove and the cuts. I like the way they introduce blaise and the way he did his things. that was nice.

A) HIT FACTOR/COMMERCIAL: 4, its a nice song and its commercial

B) MUSICIANSHIP: 4 The guitar is little to light but good enough for this track.

C) VOCALS: 4 good vocals

D) SUBJECT MATTER/LYRICS: 3 subject is nothing to cry home about just a nice dance song.

SUMMARY/CLOSING ARGUMENT: A nice track

I think you should let the fans speak and give their opinions. KOMPA MAGAZINE is THE "BIG SHOW"....THE MAJOR LEAGUES...and our members KEEP IT REAL MOST TIMES. Therefore if a band can't handle the heat...they should stay out of the kitchen.

In regards to your other question...I can't force people to respond to posts. Si yo vle pale de yon mizik/jazz...ya fel li...if not...it's up to them.

Different members have different reasons why they post on the board and why they choose to respond to certain posts.

5 BUZZWORTHY: Keep an eye on this group/artist.
4 GOOD: You got my attention, even though the song is not perfect
3 FAIR: Average piece of work
2 POOR: Needs a LOT OF WORK
1 UNACCEPTABLE: Should Not have gotten in the studio to waste our time

A) HIT FACTOR/COMMERCIAL : 3 (they got a nice commercial hook towards the end with Blaise and the guitar)

B) MUSICIANSHIP : 3 They have talent and with the right motivation and desire to learn, the can get better.

C) VOCALS : 2 ( tries to sounds like Armstrong in some parts of the song but needs work. I've heard WAYYYYYYYY worse though)

D) SUBJECT MATTER/LYRICS : 1 song says nothing especially Blaise's le saint esprit part

SUMMARY/CLOSING ARGUMENT: Bands come out every other weekend in the HMI, some are good and some are bad. This band shows promise. If they can deliver live, who knows.....
