GRACIA GOES TO GONAIVES; JOINS EFFORTS / MUSICIANS ON THE MOVE

I had just learned that KOMPA singer, GRACIA DELVA “ MASKOMPA” went to GONAIVES and joined with residents in their asking for help. Here is the note and also the link to the entire article. >

It just dawned on me that maybe he is about to find his destiny, his true calling. You know the popular saying; “everything happens for a reason.” Well, his deportation to Haiti maybe has a bigger calling to it.

Because he is there and lives there he is still pretty much in direct contact with his country and his culture and he may, can become like a new TI MANNO.

Let’s hope for that.

He also can be a link between musicians in the Diaspora and Haiti; to continue doing RELIEF FESTIVALS and to bring awareness and direct information on how things are developing there.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU.

MUSICIANS DO HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND TO CONTINUE KEEPING THIS SAD ISSUE ALIVE IN ALL OF OUR MINDS.
