hmmm....
many peoples are saying that the song has too many breaks, menm fòmil, mal miksé... all I can see is a bunch of Bias opinion...
that is just showing the tasks at hand for the new bands... had this song been release by a zenglen, nu-look, djakout... the first two reply would have been hit hit hit!!!... but a band like beldjazz it will go under the radar...
ok...
personally, I think that the vocal are on point as always, of course it's the best vocalist in the HMI... solos are great... and I give this song a 7/10... the song resemble a lot like some zenglen song... I can' t make an identity out of that!
but overall good piece of work! |
Hmph Zip where did pipo Really sing in that track beside the first 50 sec.
Medelas Groov are cool and i can see where they will extend it live and will make people Dance..But Pipo didn't really sings Brother...He came back for 15sec at the 3 min mark. After that he's Cheerleading....
Groove so Groove that are nice will make people dance at bal other then that i don't really see anything in this Track.
I'm rooting for Beldjazz ever since i heard them live...Neg yo ka jwe' but what else is in that song?

I like the trumpets! It has an old feel to it!
The bass player is rocking that bass! The song sounds like the old formula for hangout.
Advice to Pipo: Sing more, talk less....I feel like I'm listening to a live...trop pale at times.
I hope whoever composed this song is NOT the primary songwriter for the album.

that's exactly it....
the song might be ok for an establish band..
but not for a new band...
I thought that Beldjazz would take some risk...
they failed to do that.... _________________ "GOD MADE ME HAITIAN FOR A REASON"

I'm very disapointed about this one, because whenever I heard the name Pipo I'm expecting great vocals, but on this song like some members already mention he spend most of time cheerleading instead of singing, and with people that's always a no no in my book.
Also, am I the only one that notice the Djakout "arme celeste" groove at the end of that song? you know the part where the say "min arme celeste la" and then the keyboard grooves follow.
I do agree with Zip to some extent with the first part of his comment about new bands not being giving a break, but you also have to understand when you are new in any business you have to put in more work and effort then the already establish ones, that's just the way of life. We can both agree this was not Bel Jazz's best work, cause if it is they're in trouble. _________________ Just trying to stay above water |

The vocal is not bad, but the song resemble a lot with other songs... I think they need to have theyre own identity...Because I swear, I thought I was listening to some djakout or else HMI bands. And they need to stop calling people while singing... Geees! they all/bands, do that danm!. |

I give this song a B, the problem is no originality a new band will not make it big in this business if you can not bring some new flavor. _________________ Educate yourself before you educate others!
