We asked GABEL manager PATRICK FABRE if he agrees or disagrees with some people saying that WITHOUT EVEN PLAYING ONE NOTE, HARMONIK has passed quite a few bands on the HMI ladder, among them GABEL. This is what Patrick told me a few minutes ago.



PATRICK FABRE: "I DISAGREE. IT IS NOT TRUE. There is nothing that HARMONIK has done here that WE GABEL did not do when we came out EXCEPT FOR THE 30 SECOND INTERVIEW ON NBC that they had. Also when they made their schedule public, they have some overseas dates that we did not have. I RESPECT THE ORGANIZATION of NOEL/CECIBON, but because of that, there are a lot of promoters willing to just call them to ask for gigs/dates for Harmonik, instead of Noel/Cecibon making the calls to the promoters. Yon paket promoteur pa min tan NOEL/CECIBON rele yo...se yo ki rele pou mande date."

PATRICK continues: "No other bands in the HMI in the last 6/7 years has done what we have done where we came out with new members, not members that people knew from previous bands like Nickenson who spent 11 years with Zenglen, and who last year had the biggest hmi hit in the world with "ZANMI". We've made it with no superstars in our band."

PATRICK finishes "With that I will say BEEN THERE...DONE THAT."

Gabel made it? where exactly did they make it?

Gabel is one band that i have great respect for because they are trying, i might not be a fan but i like what they are doing. As far as made it I dont think he is acurate on that.

But thanks for your input on the matter... I do love the confidence!
People believe in Nickenson's work and the project he started with Harmonick. So they decide to take their chances and throw their dollars on the table. There's nothing wrong with that. The same way you're confident in your band is the same way these promoters are confident about Harmonick.. Many aren't as confident about Gabel quite yet. That just means work a little bit more harder, hustle alittle bit more harder and you will be served. If you didnt know, now you know.. its a Doggy Dog World... Chien manje Chien.. It is what is my dear..
