FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE GIVING THE CORRECT SPELLING OF THE WORD WHITE, AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS A SIMPLE MISTAKE, AND A LOT OF YOU HAVE MADE MISTAKE ON THE SPELLING OF SOME WORDS ON THIS BOARD, SO YOU'RE NOT UNSULTING ME BY IT. BECAUSE I COULD ADMIT THAT I MISSPELL IT, SO YOU GUYS COULD MOVE ON NOW.
AND JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS DO NOT SHARE MY FEELINGS DOES NOT MEANS IS WRONG. AT LEAST ROSA PARKS FOUGHT FOR IT, AND WE AS NEG LAKAY WHAT YOU WILLING TO DO ABOUT IT, FROM WHAT I CAN SEE NOT A THING; FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO FEELS THAT I COULD HAVE LET THEM PUSHED ME TO THE BACK SE PASKE NOU RENMEN ACHTE FIGURE AND I'AM NOT ONE OF THOSE WHO WILL STAND BY AND LET IT GO ON, SO NEXT TIME YOU GUYS GOES TO A BAL AND THE WHITE ONES WANT TO MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE NOT THERE AT ALL MORE POWER TO YOU. BUT AS FOR ME I REFUSE TO LET IT HAPPEN TO ME ANY MUCH LONGER, BECAUSE WE HAVE COME TO FAR FOR THIS THING TO KEEP ON HAPPENING AND TO THINK THAT IT'S OK
YES, I SHOULD OPOLOGIZE FOR EVEN PUTING CARIMI INTO THIS, BECAUSE LIKE PRINCESS SAID THEY CAN NOT CONTROL WHO STANDS IN THE FRONT NOR THE BACK OF THE LINE, HOWEVER LIKE I'VE SAID AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN THEY WHITE GIRLS THINKS THAT WHEN SOME OF US THE BLACK GIRLS STANDS UP FRONT THAT MAY BE WE MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN IN FOR FREE. I ALWAYS PAY MY MONEY TO GET IN, SO THEREFORE IF YOU DONT LIKE MY POINT OF VIEW THEN THIS POST ISN'T FOR YOU.
WELL, AGAIN FOR THOSE OF YOU GUYS WHO DOES NOT SHARE MY VIEW IT'S OK, BECAUSE THAT DOES NOT CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT IT. RACISM STILL EXIST IN THE HAITIEN COMMUNITY AND YOU ALL JUST REFUSE TO SEE IT FOR WHAT IT IS.
AND SOME ONE MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT THE WHITE GIRLS INTIMIDATE ME, WELL YOU NEED TO THINK AGAIN, FOR ME INTIMIDATED ME WOULD HAVE BEEN THAT ONCE THEY TRIED PUSHING ME OUT OF THE WAY AND THAT I JUST STEPED BACK AND LET THEM. WELL I HAVE BAD NEWS FOR YOU BECAUSE I DID NOT LET IT HAPPEN DOES NOT MEAN I WAS INTIMIDATED BY THEM, NOT BY A LONG SHOT WAS I INTIMIDATED BY THEM.
LIKE I SAID I WAS TALKING FROM EXPERIENCE, NOT JUST BECAUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch, that hurts. Whatever Wild-Flirt experienced, there has to be some true to it because her post is dripping blood. This lady is in pain.
I can relate to it. In my country my parents sent me to a private school. I am what you would call a grimmo. Most of them were light skin children from the Mexican elite. I can almost taste it in my mouth because that same arrogance, that same put down attitude I experienced in that school.
It is a legacy of colonialism. We all third world countries share that legacy. The elites that were implemented to control labor and that used every tool in their hands to keep down and slaved, Indians and Blacks alike are still there and still at work.
The most horrendous example of this legacy was in Ruwanda between the Tutsies and Hutus.
The elites are still there. In every Latin America country from Mexico to Brazil there is racism towards Indians and Blacks. How sad.
What is surprising is to find this in Haiti. Our understanding is that Haiti is a Black nation.
Racism is insane. Haitian girls discriminating Haitian girls because they are one third shade lighter than them is absurd and hurtful.
I leave Carimi out of this but I don’t doubt for one minute that there are people out there that are like she just said.
WFlirt-Kreyol if is of any comfort, I actually think that the NUBIAN QUEENS are GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL AND SWEET.
Not even one inch less that their Aviation counterparts, you know the W Girls.
Which by the way are Black in USA and Latin America and probably will be discriminated for being Haitian and Black ....
but back in Haitian bal become white and do as it has been done to them...........................Go figure................

If you gonna say it, don't mention them guys, just bring the subect up, but I guess it really really hurt. Oh well tout moun gen yon experience pou yo pran nan lavi sa, and that was yours.

I was not at this particular bal, but I'm not going to be naive to this situation. I think a lot of you ppl are being a little harsh on wildflirt, maybe there was some bias at the bal she went to. I like Carimi, and I never experienced what she said went down, but maybe on that night she did. The simple fact that someone associated with Carimi felt the need to post pictures of girls with darker skin, looks a little suspicious. Why do they feel the need to explain themselves? They shouldn't respond to this post if they know, and we know they are not like that. Obviously, they have something to prove to ppl with pictures . I wouldn't put it past anyone, especially Haitian people...... You people on here know its true. _________________ "In order to be irreplaceable, one must be different " - C. Chanel |

I think some of us here have probably witnesseed or experienced what Wild Flirt has said but all of us handle and see situations differently. In the few CaRiMi bals I have been too YES I have seen a lot of girls clammering for the perfect front row position and quite honestly I think it's cute and sometimes silly so I stay clear of the front and go to the back so I am not in any GIRLS way.
Wild Flirt I am sorry if some of us made you feel like your experience was some how made up or not important. The issue you brought is a bigger one and I think the main problem I and some of us have is that we DON'T want people to blame the actions of some of their fans and somehow make it the ARTIST'S fault or make it seem like that the artist or band have the same ignorant complex when they may not. |

Oh geez, not one of those topics again! I didn't notice such behavior from the band members when I was at their bal. Mwen we sal la de bien melanje foi sa...usually the room is divided. Oh well, just my own observation.
It's time to put these things behind us people! It is what it is..move on. |
