DJAZZ LA TIGHT ANPIL!

I showed up at SOBS at about 2 in the morning to go check out KREZI play in the city. When I got there, the place was packed, and the band was rocking it.

The addition of new guitar player RALPH SAMEDI, as well as the gongist SERGE BOURDEAU, has added a whole new flavor to the group. Their playing is EXTREMELY TIGHT, and DO NOT BE SURPRISED if in a few months, if this group starts being mentioned in the same sentence with PURE COMPAS LIVE GROUPS such as NU LOOK and ZENGLEN in conversations.

The group was relaxed just going through their live repertoire of songs, and THE FANS WERE HAVING FUN along with them THIS IS THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF KREZI that I have PERSONALLY SEEN ever since they came on the hmi scene, along with a party that they did with DJAKOUT at Amazurra a couple of years ago, and another one at SOBS. The band is MATURE "GRANMOUN" in the way that they play, and the reaction from the crowd, including a couple of hmi promoters said it all.

MIKA is EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE in the front, and he and David had this theme all night when they kept repeating "MIN JAZZ YO DI KI PA GIN "LA RI" ladan'l nan." Oh TRUST ME...YO GIN SON LA RI A and then some.

ROOSEVELT once again, after seeing him perform last night, HE WILL BE MISSED A LOT BY THE GROUP. I am NOT saying that they won't be able to replace what he brings to the group with someone else, but it will be very difficult.

DELICES last night was the SHOWSTOPPER. Clearly the MUSICAL "STAR" of the group on stage. He is allowed to shine by the maestro, and he loves it. He's even more confident now if you ask me in the way that he carries himself on the stage.

SERGO and TI BASS (Congas and Bass) TIGHT BAN DEYE along with TI BOURDEAU helped keep the band's sound in check throughout the night. KREZI had SOBS in the palm of their hands last night, and after a great performance like that, it was good to see that the house was full, to enjoy this beautiful music display by a group who is CLEARLY ON ITS WAY UP the HMI ladder.

BRAVO KREZI!

ACTIVE KM Members that were in the house were RICKY, BELFANM, FANMKONESE, SEXY T, BENNY BLANCO, EROTICALLY YOURS and LOVELIYAH having a ball of a time. We also saw a couple of old friends/colleagues. It was good to see you all.

HMI personalities that were in the house were ALEX THEBAUD and NOLDY CADET of CARIMI. Alex even went on stage to rock with the band on one song. KINO, FOOLISH BROTHERS, A-TEAM's JAMAAL also known as MONEYHUNGRY, JAZZ ENTERPRISE's EVENS BLAISE, BOOGIE'S ROBINSON, PE GIGIT, KATALOG (I did not see him, but he was there) DJ STAKS of High Profile. If I missed anyone, it was not intentional.

I could not Muster the courage to go support KREZI. I was feeling a bit Guilty about going to SOB's on Good Friday. I'm glad the joint was packed and KREZI delivered. I will be there tonite.

MIKA is sporting the "ROOSTER" look/haircut, where the top of his hair in the middle is basically shaped like a rooster. I saw a member in the crowd wearing the same ROOSTER haircut look as well.
