I'm telling - it's unbelievable with Yankee fans. They win a game against the Red Sox and you'd think Christ has returned.
Quite honestly, that's undertstandable! If a team came back from an 0-3 deficit against me and served me the biggest embarrassment in the history of sports - in front of millions of people, then I'd be doing jumping jacks too if win a game or two against them. That actually makes sense! :mrgreen:

The same goes for a team that comes back from a whatever year old "curse" and beat their arch nemesis years ago...of course I'll be reminiscing about those days too when that arch nemesis beats my ass again in the present day to make me happy!!!!

This much is certain my dear Daph: No other team in sports history has come back from an 0-3 deficit to win a best out of 7!!!! That's never been done -except in one case, when the Boston Red Sox did it to the NY Yankees!!!! This is something that'll continue to be talked about for eternity.
If I'm not mistaken, it's likely in the Guiness Book of Records! This is the stuff of greatness - a feat never attained by no one/team in the history of sports. I'm sure even you, Daphnee, would agree with me that comparing such act to a couple of wins here and there in a regular season is as incongruent and isolated as comparing apples and oranges.

Remind these Yankee folks on Game 3 the Yankees pounded the Red Sox for 19 runs. Remember, everybody was depressed and the Mighty Red Sox prevailed delivering the greatest victory of all of sports!!!!!

See the thing is even though I was pissed the Yanks lost to the Sox back in the day..I did commend you guys...it was feat/fluke and well deserved but you guys are so petty with oh its just one game and it doesn't matter because we beat you guys back then...It's 2006 and we're talking about this series now so let's see how your boys do this go round b/c last night was shameful...can't you guys even cop to that one????

Hey - as long as Yankee fans are willing to mouth off when they have that kind of an eternal stigma (2004 ALCS) hanging over their heads, I'll be ready to face their non-sense any day - especially from a routine game where the Sox happens to be the losing team. Wave'm Bogart. :mrgreen:

I have never seen a fan like Ti-Boxer who rooting for a losing team that is getting its butts whip and still talking non-sense.
TiBoxer if you do a soul search, you will realize that Gromosso is right. Your team sucks...
In term of Messina, why is Gromosso wrong. Messina is having a great year and so Papelbon. It will come down to who win the division assuming that both players keep up this pace and does not get hurt. It is still early in the season. You and I know that the Yankees will win the division so Gromosso is right....
So far, Since the Yankees are winning and leading the AL with substitute and Messina is kicking butt without Sheffield, Jeter, Matsui and at one time without Giambi and Arod.... Would you agree that at this stage that Messina would have been favor to win the CY young. If you disagree then you are indeed a cry baby a bebe lala... Let me hear you Skie Daddy...
