 |
|
It's been a few months now since ELIE LAPOINTE's addition to Djakout. Based on what you have seen so far during their LIVE performances, what's your verdict in terms of what he brings to the group in his role.
A) Is he "ok" with what he is doing currently.
B) Should his role be expanded, so that he can have a BIGGER role in the band?
C) Do you see no purpose for his addition in the band?
D) Whatever you want to say.
What is YOUR verdict?

Elie has brought a new vibe to djakout. Elie plays a role that tony did nto want to play. In songs like tragedie, kout lang, i think he is exceptional with is guitar. he has really filled a big void in djakout. _________________ AUX PAS, AVEC LE KOMPAS! |

Neg okap,
You re right, His role will expand more on the studio cd. Right now he is just adapting to Djakout's style,.
My question is this: What was the real purpose of bringing him to Djakout? Was it his guitar skills? Because Tony is still there and play from time to time. Was it for his singing ability?

I'd say he is ok with his current role. some background singing, lead on one song or two and play the guitar. |

He can be a plus considering the fact he can play some guitar, sing, compose, arrange, produce BUT til this day he's still in an adaptation period I don't really like what he's doing now, the groove was tighter before but hopefully he should catch up |

from a live at west palm I heard
I can say that his guitar is a big plus
but his singing is not sitting well
even his bakground vocal is off
I don't know if the sound man
didn't realised that elie's mic
was too loud or him backing up
too loud . or maybe he never
practiced with the band cause
I know a lot of pros who rehearse
on their own with tapes... _________________ il est friday ou est le rezilta |
