According to one of the promoters for the party, the T-VICE/CARIMI at Amazura from this past weekend did in the vicinity of "1800 people". They said that most of the money were from advance ticket sales, and that not too many were at the door.

And please...please, di mwen de kilè Ayisyen te kwè nan advanced tickets konsa?! i know it's a promoters thing to do to put a very limited amount of tickets out there only to jack up their profits by the higher priced tickets at the door...so please In the end, the only one to have profited from that ball regardless of the incidents : the promoters, well, what a surprise...

Yo Aesha you really need to talk what you know. It sounds like you talk sometimes just to talk. We put out 1500 adv tix and they sold out. All of the stores were calling us to bring more tix, so what we did was put the door tix for sale outside for sale for $30 also. The door never went more than $40 as advertised. We didnt sell that many @ $40 anyway becuase our people sold them outside. All the scalpers were mad becuase they couldnt make a profit. You saying since when do haitians deal with adv? I don't know what parties you go to, becuase the majority of the money made are through advanced tix. You talking like $60k is a whole of money after all the expenses are taken out. What if the party flopped you wouldnt have said anything about the promoters gaining, becuase, promoters lose most of the time anyway.

Amazura is a money maker. With all the buzz that is going on, there is no way it would have been a flop. Also, the promoters invloved know how it goes, se pa yè yo te fèt. An investment such as this is a no brainer. So a flop, I don't think so. Especially if most ticket sales were made in advance; isn't that saying that even before the ball, the money was made yeah...

Gen yon fwa bagay sa rive'm ler mwen al remet ticket yo neg la charger $5 per ticket for service fee as if he was ticketmaster... You say if it was ticketmaster I wouldn't have said anything, right... If it was ticketmaster I would've gotten my money back in full, probably minus the delivery fee, which is understandable but no service charge for a a$$hole standing in his barbershop selling me tickets...
