Hmmm...I thought it sounded like Djakout in the beginning, then it turned into System Band. I think his voice sounds better on this track then on Richie's album. I got bored with it, though. I must confess I really don't like when rap is incorporated into kompa that much. It seems that everyone coming out is trying to do that. Ex. I LOVE FRERO's album, but I do not like the rap in #1. All that "shake that ass, shorty" stuff ..is no no for me. Although I am more Americanized, I do not listen to rap b/c it is all about money, sex, being gangster..blah blah. Please don't make the same mistake, Kompa. Some of the raps are alright (Zin, Zenglen, Djazz la-whichever volume).

There was nothing in this song to pull me in, actually I was surfing the net while playing this single and didn't even realize it was still playing. Dabenz, I guess is trying to pull himself away from the TiBatKo stylee and it's not working for him, because he's been imitating Captain Delva for so long it's too late to create an identity for himself. He needs to keep on imitating and hopefully I'll pay closer attention next time...
@Pat - if you have the ear of Alez, tell them not to make themselves "Alez" just yet... Tell them to lock themselves up in the studio for the next three months and try to bang out some hits for the sake of kompa...
